Overview
Altbase Wallet is a self-custody wallet for desktops.
The open-source code can be found on GitHub.
No Account
You don’t need an account, sign-up, or KYC to create a wallet. Local Keys
Your private keys and backup phrases are encrypted and stored locally. Self-Custody
With Altbase Wallet, your assets are not held, collected, or transferred by us.
Security Model
Your private keys stay local. Altbase Wallet doesn’t receive your private keys, backup phrases, or passwords. All your wallet data stays on your own computer. Encrypted wallet data
Wallet files are secured with local encryption. It’s a good idea to use a strong password and keep your backup phrase offline. No hosted account layer
You can create a wallet without needing to register an email or verify your identity. There’s no hosted account that manages your funds. Blockchain-based balances
Funds are stored on their respective blockchains. Altbase Wallet gives you a way to view your balances and carry out transactions.

While the wallet is open source, it hasn't received sufficient rigorous reviews, so it's best to approach it with caution.
Does the wallet support linking hardware wallets?
Does the wallet support adding other servers, or are all node synchronization servers owned by Altbase Wallet?
I couldn't find a list of the number of altcoins supported by the platform or any privacy features.
The list of supported coins is indicated both on the website and in the thread.

Altbase Wallet is not just another wallet.
It is infrastructure for altcoin communities that still mine, build, hold and keep their networks alive.
More assets are coming in. More communities are getting support.
Open-source. Desktop. Self-custody first.
BC2 and BCH2? What it means? If the wallet is really serious about providing the crypto community, then it should have added Bitcoin at first right? Even if you say it is only for altcoin community then where is ETH, stablecoins?
Open source doesn't make it as a trusted wallet to use. I am sensing that this is an attempt to mislead the users to buy wrong coins with a similar name to the most popular cryptocurrencies.
Thank you for your feedback.
BC2 and BCH2 are the tickers of separate altcoin projects: Bitcoin II and Bitcoin Cash II. They are not Bitcoin (BTC) or Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and we do not present them as such.
Altbase Wallet is focused on altcoin communities and miners who need a simple desktop wallet without having to run and maintain many different wallets or blockchain clients on their own computer. The goal is convenience, self-custody and support for smaller networks that are actively used by their communities.
Many of the supported coins are mineable and can be independently checked through public mining resources such as:
WhatToMine
MiningPoolStats
We also provide dedicated asset pages on our website with detailed information about each supported coin:
https://altbase.io
Open source does not mean users should trust blindly. It means the code is publicly available for review, verification and community feedback. Users should always do their own research before using any wallet or holding any asset.
Altbase Wallet does not ask users to buy any specific coin and does not try to represent listed assets as Bitcoin, Ethereum or stablecoins. The wallet simply provides self-custody tools for supported networks.
Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins and other networks may be considered in the future, but our first focus is altcoin communities that currently have fewer simple desktop wallet options.
Added Bitcoin support
UTXO balance handling has been improved, helping to avoid false service states.

In that case, if you're taking any suggestions, I would recommend Nervos network (CKB). The project has been around for quite some time and is also listed on multiple DEXes, but it never took off which left its users (especially desktop ones) with barely any good wallets: https://www.nervos.org/wallets
Hello, we're very sorry to hear that all exchanges have blocked withdrawals for this coin. If you're willing to provide us with 2-3 coins for testing, we'll be happy to add it.
