I'm currently using an Antminer S9 running on Braiiins OS Plus. I've noticed you can add extra pools and split your hash rate using either fixed or quota options. I totally get that part, but I've been mining on my current pool for about 6 days now and I'm curious about adding another pool without messing up my current stats and having to start over.
So, can I just add another pool, slide that little knob, choose fixed or quota, and let it roll? Will that reset or screw up my existing stats? Am I going to have to restart everything again just to use another pool?
I have a feeling it won't, since it seems designed for convenience and profit, but I just wanted to check with you guys before making any moves.
Thanks!

Nevermind. Figured out it's not possible with a single miner.
Thanks everyone

You shouldn't be switching from this board (and sub-boards) to get the best answers regarding mining. I've recently received a lot of counter-answers to your conclusion; generally speaking, it should work with a single miner. Sources: (1), (2)
Regarding historical statistics: Pools also provide statistics derived from the records of the all miners who joined them. If their database is as it usually is, your historical statistics won't be reset. Once you split some of your hashrate to another pool, the first pool may only see your hashrate drop, not your statistics starting from zero. cmiiw

I guess I'm not understanding how it works because I can activate another pool and it shows up as a live but it's not active, do I have to reboot the system whenever I want to try to mine 2 different pools and split my hashrate?
