Bitwise has shown a worthy example for other Bitcoin asset managers to follow. Publishing its wallet address is aimed at showing transparency which could boost customer confidence in the company. The stiff competition between the other ten spot Bitcoin ETF providers might have also necessitated this publicity by Bitwise. There are many big players such as BlackRock, Grayscale, etc, but investors might be attracted to asset managers that have made their wallets public. We might see other providers join Bitwise and also seek other means to gain the trust of prospective investors.

In fact, there is no point in hiding this information, because it is public The wallet address is not public, but everything that is transmitted in tax or other reports will soon become known or companies like Arkham will find these wallets. But the speed of reaction to events from the company's managers is worthy of respect.

They announce the data publicly, and it will not be difficult to track the flows, especially since they are in the thousands of BTC and the data results are updated periodically, with a low possibility that these funds will commit fraud, especially since everything is subject to taxes and auditing. The only advantage of showing the address is that it only helps in quickly detecting scam if it occurs.

This is the American market and large public companies operate in these markets. Such fraud is impossible because the scammers will have nowhere to escape. Bitcoins are stored in specialized wallets that cannot be managed like your own hardware wallet.
