Hey everyone, so tomorrow's the big day for the SpaceX IPO, and I'm itching to snag some shares if I can. But I've hit a couple of roadblocks trying to buy them on NASDAQ: - I haven't been in the US for a long time, so filing the necessary paperwork is gonna be tough. No residential address, you know? - Plus, I don't have a US bank account to just jump online and grab shares. So I'm wondering if any exchanges might be selling tokenized SpaceX shares. Ideally, I'd love to buy them with Bitcoin. Is this a solid plan? Or am I just dreaming again?

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/spacex-tokenized-stock-prestocks/#Markets Is it what you are asking for not the same thing listed on coinmarketcap? which few exchanges are offering but majorly on stable coin and Solana pairs can't find bitcoin pairs.

I don't believe it is a good idea. I wouldn't even trust Binance for that. First of all there is no way that could be the same as owning the stock itself. If the exchange/token issuer decides to scam you, there won't be anything you can do about it and the SEC will simply say: "I don't care." because the SEC will not regulate them probably since the token issuers won't have their permission. The picture changes if the issuer has a permit but I still wouldn't trust them in full because I don't trust the SEC completely. Then there is that the IPO itself, isn't it overpriced already? The hype is huge and it certainly has some upside potential and that's also fine if you want to do a quick hit and run, in and out, kiss and goodbye. I'd rather just wait till the just settles. I don't think I am missing anything. I hate to chase hype trains. I don't trust any of those. They all look scammy to me. I would only try my luck if binance offered a true spaceX/btc pair and that's still a big maybe.

I do not know much about the premarket on the exchanges, so make more research about this because I will only list you the exchanges the token or derivatives that I know are traded on. On exchanges, if you click on the chart, you can go to the info to read about it to know if it is token, derivative or others. I saw SPCX on spot trading on Biget and Gate. I saw it on derivatives on Binance and MEXC, but Bitget and Gate will also have it there. On the exchanges that I mentioned, you may also see it on the ones that have TradeFi among the coins that are listed there, but I think you are referring to the spot ones.

I also think it is a bad idea to be honest. Why not spread that money on other assets that you can get without having to rely on a tokenized version? For example, gold or foreign currency. I assume you don't want to increase your risk by adding more into your crypto portfolio, but buying tokenized token sounds riskier than buying alts to me. Maybe the hype will sustain pumps for a while, but there's a chance it will dump sooner or later. Anyway, as always. DYOR and DWYOR. No financial advice yada yada.

OGnasty also have a thread about SpaceX IPO, he actively update this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5567934.20 But will provably think about investing on this, since I heard lots of hype about SpaceX IPO, This will be massive but hard to speculate about success, but what we know if there's lots of hype for sure many investors would follow and try their luck for investing on their IPO.

IMO Buying SpaceX stock could be a good move. If I was thinking of buying them myself I personally would use FIAT rather than Bitcoin and that could be my diversification model with HODL'ing BTC as my main asset. I think SpaceX is a solid project with a somewhat proven record and somm innovation but with Musk involved for me it casts a shadow over the whole thing because he is laible to do anything for better or worse. Then I'm thinking why not just buy more Bitcoin with that FIAT and sidestep SpaceX

Do not trust verify; I have not used any centralized exchange on that list, nor do I trust them. Even a few decentralized exchanges on the list cannot be completely trusted, since anyone can add a token to PancakeSwap and Uniswap. Are both tokens the same? I mean the one listed on Bitget, Gate.io, and other DEX exchanges; some have different values attached to it, which is way too much compared to what is shown on the first link I shared and what is also shown under Binance features, which I doubt if OP needs any of those feature trading options.

You can open and account in interactive brokers, the world biggest broker in the world. You don't need us address to open an account there. I live in brazil and I have an account there. You can also try jn https://degiro.ie which probbaly has nasdaq stocks (you can make a little research to confirm)

It is premarket, their prices are very similar on the exchanges that I mentioned. If not really similar, they will probably be more similar when people know the IPO price tomorrow. It is $153 on Gate spot market which has the highest difference among them. Right now it is $162 on Binance perpetual futures. This is it on MEXC for NotATether to see that it is it. The trading will start tomorrow on spot. This is on Bitget It is better we wait till tomorrow and see the IPO price of SPCX, I do not like premarkets.

I am afraid of this movement of crypto investors. I think the same early bitcoin adopters and speculators are now buying those Elon Musk stocks (tesla and spaceX) Money is flowing from bitcoin and crypto to SpaceX IPO. I highly believe this IPO is overpriced. Looks like it is going to start on a marketcap of 1.5 to 1.7 billion USD. And the price may collapse after a few weeks  and the money might not come back to crypto if investors lose money. Too much volatility and risk

Binance and many others are trading it: https://www.binance.com/en/trade/SPCXB_USDT?ref=40896146&type=spot I think it is the easiest stock to buy that I have ever seen.... I am looking for tokenized Sp500 ETF. Do you guys know any good option to buy? I found this one (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/sp500-tokenized-stock-xstock/), but I don't know if the https://assets.backed.fi/ is a good company with prove of reserves, etc.

I also some many people claiming the funds are moving from Bitcoin into SpaceX but it's hard to ignore the hype already around spaceX and that Elon Musk has become the first trillionaire all of that are making people believe that this is an opportunity of a lifetime for them especially those who think this is early Bitcoin days opportunity all over again. But everything surrounding the IPO from exchanges going against their long standing rules and with documented cases of owing funds is this actually a good time to liquidate your Bitcoin to purchase SpaceX.

Yes, that's the one that I've seen. It's listed in Bybit. --> https://announcements.bybit.com/en/article/spcx-is-now-live-on-bybit-alpha-blt7ee7d273a3f4ee48/ But isn't this like the wrapped bitcoin? since it has got a contract on the solana network and said as an "on-chain asset". --> https://solscan.io/token/SPCXxcqXj6e5dJDVNovHN8744zkbhM2bYudU45BimGb I don't think this is what OP is looking for. There's a possibility that this can depeg from the actual space x stock we don't know when. Only time can tell. I also think so that it's overpriced but it gets interesting when there's a 14%+ right now. I guess the long time stock owners of it haven't dumped yet.

That is  an IPO, there aren't any "long time stock owners". Everyone who has a stock bought from the founders and early investors, who sold some of their shares of the company to the market. The IPO is a dump of shares in the market.

I was talking about the equity holders or those employees who's offered to work with a stock option on Space X. As well as the pre-IPO investors. I guess that I've used the wrong word about saying about long time stock owners instead of pre-ipo and employees who also owns a share/equity of the company. Either way, I'll wait for its dump before I buy.

We didn't get a chance to participate in Space X IPO but the good news is that the SpaceX is being trading at binance so all the crypto users can easily trade Space X to gain some short term profits. While the price of this may rise in the short term but I am sure it will dump quite hard as the investors who bought at pre-ipo price will sell it to book profits. However that will be a good time to buy this, as in the long term SpaceX has a good potential.

Kraken has it. I have ten shares got in at 177 they are now 201 I decided to make an account with robinhood.com Kraken shares are like usdt vs the usd. But robinhood shares are like usd to usd they are real with full voting. Of course robinhood is a 2 week wait to join and you must be usa citizen. But the Kraken I got in like 5 minutes as I have a Kraken account already. If the shit goes to 500 or 750 fast before robinhood opens to me I can switch by selling  the kraken tokens. The chances are this will  be over 1000 a share in under a year's time.
