There's been a lot of debate about whether prayer actually helps with trading. Some folks are all for it, while others say it’s pointless.
I have my own thoughts on how it all works. Praying to God won’t directly control the market, or else everyone who prays would always be profitable. God doesn’t just wave a magic wand; he works miracles through our own efforts.
Think about it like this: when you pray for peace, but conflicts arise, you often have to do the hard work of creating that peace yourself. What God does is give you wisdom and strategies to tackle those issues. Once you manage to resolve a tough situation, future problems seem much easier to handle that's a miracle, right? You gain peace!
Trading operates on a similar principle. Let’s say you jump into a trade and just pray for it to go up. Do you really think God is going to make that happen? Nope, he’s not a magician.
The spiritual world is different from the physical one. The markets function on their own, and things will play out as they do. What really matters is how you position yourself to come out ahead. That’s what God prepares you for.
Sometimes, God might let you struggle a bit and then send someone or a video your way to remind you not to quit. He’ll guide you through the process, help you find the right strategies, and show you what impatience can cost you, so you learn to be patient. He’ll point out the effects of being undisciplined, helping you become disciplined instead. But ultimately, you’ve gotta put in the work.
Prayer contributes 90% to trading. Instead of technical and fundamental analysis, simply praying can bring you luck and become more religious. On the other hand, you should consider the volatility of prayer; I mean, there are many prayers from people with open trading positions. And be wary of pray sweeps; I wish there were charts that could show that.
Essentially, God created the brain to think more rationally before praying.
Prayer can help produce positive trading results, but it cannot change market conditions and analysis. Prayer can only help us be more careful and wise in making decisions, as trading is a highly stressful, emotional, and ambitious activity. Therefore, prayer can provide inner peace, aid self-control, manage emotions, and reduce anxiety, allowing us to trade calmly and make informed decisions. Prayer can assist in all of these areas, and prayer depends on the prayer request and the attitude needed to achieve the desired positive results, and both must be in harmony.
I disagree here, because if praying really helps, for sure, traders who are having a hardtime to become profitable will solve their problem, I am not against with God or praying, but it just didn't work with trading, it's totally different. Maybe yes for jus psychological for yourself, beliefs or traditions, but in overall, I don't think so.
Here I am agreed with you but not completely because I also feel if just prayers works then surely traders never have hard time they can turn their loses into profits and things can always go into their favor just because of their prayers it never works.
Always needs to have your work then prayers works but if you fail and going on wrong strategy then prayers never works and your loses will be never change into profit they will be stayed as loses, and you have to face consequences God and prayers are authentic, but they give us mind, and we need to work through this.
Praying does not control the market to move according to our analysis. But some people believe that when they start something with a prayer, they experience smoothness in carrying out their activities. I think there is nothing wrong with someone praying; it shows how close a person is to their God. But of course, we understand that it does not affect trading results. It is just a form of personal belief.
This could be funny but prayer works if you can do the right thing. If you will take a risk that is reasonable then you can have more liquidity to float with the market. If you use stop loss on your account then you have another opportunity to enter next time incase you lose. If you are patient enough to follow your strategy and don't rush the market especially futures where traders get deceived with candle sticks. If you will learn your chats technically and don't chase your lose.
So what I believe is when you do the right kind of trade then your prayer will work in your trade but you can't go left when price is going right and you expect prayer to work when it comes to trading. Miracles like that won't work in trading because God is not a magician, identify the trend and follow it.
In trading and similarly in gambling someone's prayers don't work and that's the most honest answer someone can give who's doing trading for many years.
I've been into crypto trading since 2017 if I remember it correctly and even till this day I haven't seen prayers working for traders. Only knowledge, experience, and proper trading strategy and plans are needed in tradings to get profits, the prayers really don't work.
This is not true, you can be a religious person, pray but do not think prayer can do everything. Do not pray and lose in trading and blame your God. Money and risk management are very important and be very careful. To pray and to be disciplined is very good, it can help you even financially. In trading you need to learn about technical and fundamental analyses and risk wisely by risking little.
Their is a popular saying that says, "most traders loses money and fails when trading because they enter the market blindly, and start praying for a miracle " am not saying that prayer is bad, no, what am trying to say is that prayer without works/putting a valuable effort and skill will results to failure.
You can't be doing the wrong thing am be thinking that just because you prayed, everything will fall into places, no, that's not how things works. Even in the spiritual realms, their are rules and law to everything, so you can't cheat nature, you learn and put in enough work and commitment before you earn, not by praying alone.
I think that in trading, only prayers do not work, here you have to apply knowledge and skills. In trading, your knowledge and experience can bring good results. In fact, as someone mentioned above, honestly if prayers worked, many people would not have faced such huge losses, they would have been able to recover. So learn to analyze the market. Maybe, some people bought good coins and prayed and were able to profit, but you will not always get positive results. So analyze the market and decide to trade.
Technically no, you can't just trade and pray that's basically wreking your money. If you are going to pray that a miracle could happen like pump big pumps of meme coins or when you are losing the trade and prays that miracle could happen. Remember the price of the coin in trading is basically people buying and selling and prayers can't help you with that. However there's a way you can utilize prayer for yourself, like trying to ask for help to be disciplined or have patience and clarity in your mind or probably a wider understanding on the market but praying to make a miracle, that's really impossible to happen.
I believe prayer can produce better results, but that doesn't mean traders only need to pray for profits. Hard work, analysis, and patience are still required, as well as avoiding greed when determining profit.
So, don't be a foolish trader who only prays and opens positions haphazardly without monitoring market movements.
I believe in God and I believe in prayer too, but I don't believe that prayer works in that way🤔 i.e., you buy a coin at random and then pray to God that its price will rise.
Prayer works when combined with the right steps and the laws of nature, not against them. You should choose your coin carefully after thorough research, proper analysis, and gathering all the necessary information. If you find the coin to be of good value, then buy it and pray for its price to rise, and you will profit.
Prayer which is asking for help from God creates a place of personal satisfaction. Will your prayers always be effective? It is a belief that the Creator see and hears you but is not pleased with you. Those who believe that prayer works in trading are based on a belief but if it were so for everyone there would be no poverty in the world. Everyone would call on God during trading and He would bring them profit and make them rich.
In my opinion, what we call luck is a powerful means of determining victory or defeat. Many people consider this luck to be a manifestation of God will. I value skill and experience more for success in trading because if you make wrong decisions by guessing and praying to God it is basically ineffective. You have to apply knowledge through skill then luck can reward you.
I do believe praying before doing anything is good. That gives you confidence that you can do whatever you want.
But trading needs knowledge and only prayer will not give you a chance to make a profit. Some people don't believe while others believe. If you believe, you can continue. But if you don't, that is fine. Nothing to force you to follow what other believes.
Well in trading we believed on technical analysis as we learned it but sometimes luck or prayer can also played it's part. We knew that some traders those that are highly experience still loses and not able to predict well the potential market movement. As a person who believed in religion too, I know prayers works but sometimes I add some logic to that these kind of prayers aren't meant for gambling or something related to money at all. Prayers are granted but not in the form you'll earn 100x or jackpot on any gambling you play.
Prayers help us stay sane and hopeful. It grounds us and keeps us humble. But God doesnt hold the market. He wont do anything to manipulate the marker neither will he force your hand to buy or sell. While religion is an essential part of ourselves, its not necessary in trading.
Assuming prayer is working for the sake of discussion. The problem will arise if trader that trading on opposite positions collide. Like 1 trader is shorting while the other 1 is longing a position on same token.
It will be a battle of the prayer on who has the closest connection to God. In the end, it will all depends on the technical analysis skills since both trader are praying.
This depends on each individual. For religious people it can have a positive impact, but for non-religious people prayer will have no effect on trading. Essentially we pray to find peace especially when facing difficulties, trials, or challenges in trading. Specifically prayer improves our psychology and emotions and allows us to control them.
Prayer also improves mental health and in turn increases gratitude, which helps us control greed. However prayer must be accompanied by significant effort, the right strategy, and sound analysis. Therefore prayer and the strategy we employ are two complementary elements that can help us build optimism in trading.
