So there's this trading influencer in Nigeria who's always flexing with fancy cars, from Lambos to Ferraris. He recently got into an accident with his Lambo thanks to another popular streamer, but now he’s showing off a new Ferrari. With all these collaborations between streamers and traders, I just can't take them seriously. But the flashy cars aren’t the main issue here. This guy has started a boot camp where he claims he can change people’s lives through trading. He’s charging money for this, but honestly, I bet they’re raking in more cash from selling courses and boot camps than from actual trading. Now, he’s posting a series on Instagram with a dude who’s just another Nigerian youth looking for money and hope. He’s locked in with this guy and claims he’ll turn his life around. Here’s why I’m skeptical: 1. These trading influencers seem more focused on entertaining their followers than actually trading. 2. If he’s so confident about changing someone's life, why isn’t he doing that for his family or folks back home? 3. The lock-in videos look so staged, it’s hard to believe they’re real. What do you guys think? Are these trading influencers legit?

Most of these cars and social media lifestyles are fake, people should not fall readily for it Selling courses is the means of generating passive income by most of them. I don't readily buy those books and just read since it may not convey the full experience and expertise of the trading expert if he is really genuine. Trading is not just something you read books and get profitable, It has a high learning curve, I prefer direct mentorship. NO I don't, although I don't trade no more, but anything that has to do with influencers is taken by me with a pinch of salt. There are many scams that ensures from them, maybe you can post the link to his bio for us to peruse.

Before I lock on to a trading influencer, I must have a certain knowledge I intend to gain from them. I don't follow influencers because I want them to change my life by trading my funds for me, because I believe they can say anything when the money is lost and one would be left speechless or bankrupt because all their hopes relied on the profit from the trade they invested so much in, due to false believe in an influencer. I believe anyone willing to go into trading should first take time to learn the basics and what it entails from the onset so as not to fall victim to influencers who knows their trickery in swindling or losing your hard earned funds. I don't believe most of the wealth they pose with is legit for one and trading could just be a front for something much deeper than meets the eyes.

I don’t believe them as well, and from the comments of which more than half are generated their relevance in trading in diminishing. This trading influencers are serious with social media creating very interesting content that I think is entertaining watching but not smart to believe anything from it. I think they are now going after the pay from the social media platforms for views and engagement.

They don't influence people because they really have the potentials to change their lives, but they are paid with that kind of job, so they will do everything to make the audience believe in them, even if claiming those massive wins and luxury cars or properties as their own, when we all know everything is sponsored by the platform owners. Seriously speaking, they are just doing what their heads ask to, so I've no reason to believe them. And yes you are right, everything is scripted, even some of their winnings are fake but no ones knows that, only theirselves and the platform owners.

To be frank I don't believed on what I see online be it facebook, twitter, instagram or even tiktok I do not follow them. What you must understand about them is they could go to any extent in other to convinced their followers that they are actually living a good live that whatever they needs could be available for them whenever they needs it, most times some of things are being hired just to use them and show off.. I can also flash back how some content creators do hire some expensive vehicle just to shoot their videos and if you don't know you could think those cars are theirs without knowing they are all rented property. No doubt there is a good trader out there but they don't show off or even to impressed anyone rather they would hide themselves so that they wouldn't that too exposed so that they won't be adopted or being kidnapped.

LOL. Classic scheme, eh?   You absolutely nailed their scheme. If someone offers to change your life, you know it's absolutely BS lol. The worst is, majority of their victims are folks who had to pour blood and sweat for their money. I've been seeing lots of fake shit from influencers for engagement farming. With the AI boom, it has gotten more easier for them to edit pictures/videos. Guess what? they keep getting deals from some brands too lol.

Fake it until you make it isn't a myth, it's a thing these days especially with these so-called influencers but they're just for show and probably they'll feed you the social climber things. Take out the noise out of these people and life will be fine mind me. I'd probably follow the likes of Benjamin Cowen type of trading influencers, they feed you with learnings you can use through the course of your trading journey, this are the kind of trading influencers that really influence you.

That is the style that has been happening in my country through multi-level marketing. They have products to sell and they flaunt those expensive cars that they have probably rent somewhere or borrowed it with their co-influencers. I am going to believe to the silent ones and not showy with the assets that they acquire with the profits they make either by trading or investing. We're in the era that many still believe with those fake influencers and acquired riches. People who are gullible are the ones they're targeting and that's why I don't solely with anything who shows their riches on social media and in the end will ask you to look after their online courses at expensive rates, to make people believe that they've got those from being profitable trader.

LOL. Last time I know most trading influencers main source are : 1. selling courses 2. selling bootcamp 3. refferal And usually trading influencers in twitter or any social media use a simple trick to fabricate their profit screenshot which is opening two way trade and only screenshot the one that got profit. Hyperliquid on-chain explorer successfully exposed plenty of these fake influencers. When you see an influencer buying a luxury car like buying peanut, just know that you can rent luxury car for photoshoot purpose.

Don't believe it, you can start by verifying it: Has he ever shown proof of purchase? Was it purchased with cash?In my country, such luxury cars are provided by influencer recruiters. Differentiate between truly rich people and pretending to be rich. Flexing is simply the work of poor people who become slaves to platforms/companies to trick more victims.

Your doubt and reasoning is actually spot on and yes they're more of an actor than a trader. No trader spent too much time flexing on social media. Even the most sophisticated quantz that actually make money from finding edges and i'm talking about millions here never flex that much. The number 1 is the most obvious red flag, they never went live with a real trading session but instead just flexing. They're willing to spent money to create that heavily edited reels so that they can extract money from you. The video is the first bait. Just learn trading by yourself.

There is history that some influencers pretending to be rich in social media. But they have been exposed by other people by just renting houses and cars. So it could be the same with so called trading influencers. Maybe they don't have the skills and just copying other traders too to make that so called money. So with that, we should really be careful of this influencers, as most of them are faking it and the thing is that there could be individuals that might fall for their trick. But instead of making money, they could lose by following this influencers. So again, due diligence is the key and not everyone you see or hear in the internet is for real.

I rarely trust trading influencers who rely on displays of wealth to sell credibility. Flashy cars luxury trips and constant profit claims are usually part of a marketing strategy not proof of skill. This pattern looks very similar to multi level schemes where image matters more than substance. Most of the time the real income comes from referrals courses or promotions. The trading narrative is just bait for attention. I pay more attention to people who stay quiet and consistent. Those who do not need to prove success publicly often have less to hide. In an era full of rented lifestyles and manufactured success gullible audiences are the main target. Selling expensive courses while showing off riches creates an illusion of easy success. Real trading and investing rarely look that dramatic. Silence and transparency speak louder than luxury displays.

This is how they mislead people to believe that trading can change their lives for good and they assume it is the easiest way to make money. You just addressed him as influencer and that should be enough for you to know that he's surviving from that influencing and not trading. Those cars he's flaunting online are probably rent cars and not truly his own cars. They actually need those things for people to take them serious. Hence, they end up living fake lives on borrow property and funds to impress their community. Have you ever seen them displaying a live view of their trading where they make huge profit as they usually claim? That's to tell you there's more behind the scenes. Be aware of their fake and edited screenshot and videos.

Do not believe everything you see. Most of these traders are scammers. They are portraying the image that they're doing well for themselves through trading, but in reality they are not. The money you think they make from the sales of their trading courses is not what is funding the lifestyle. It is the financially buoyant individuals who reach out to them to trade on their behalf. They would convince them to fund their account with a huge amount of money, for example, $100,000. After receiving the money, they would transfer it to their personal account. Then, they would create a fake account showing fake trades and the losses and tell the person that they've lost the money. Sometimes, after so many threats from the victims, they may agree to repay $20,000 - $30,000 and keep the rest to themselves.

Influencers just make big promises to viewers of their videos. They say many things and convince people that they will help to change their lives. Unfortunately, many people don't realize that trading isn't as simple as they think and start joining him. They follow the instructions and pretend that they will make money with him. But unfortunately, they will see what happens. I don't trust those influencers. If they are rich and want to help, why they ask people to pay as the fee to join him? But that is okay because I don't join any influencers. I prefer to search for myself and ask my friends who knows. We can't stop them because they have a network that will share many things to attract more people to join. We can let him do whatever but we can remind our friends and families to be careful around those influencers.

We know how it all works 1. Shill shitcoins to the masses and get paid by the shitcoin devs, in most cases up front 2. Get money from the gullible users through paid or VIP course 3. Accumulate a shitcoin in big amounts and then shill it to the many followers, when the price pumps due to FOMO from the followers, he will dump it on them 4. Earn through social media subscriptions and views 5. Earn through referral links Meanwhile, all the time, the so-called influence is selling the followers only bullshit. No, never follow any influencer thinking you will get rich through them.

In case some persons don't know, many trading influencers are scumbags, they don't have truth on their lips but are using lies and fake life show off to deceive many newbies towards believing that their life can be changed by the influencer meanwhile the trader influencer is enriching himself by the salary that they are paid by crypto exchanges, forex brokers and altcoin projects, for advertising their company and they also make money from those livestreaming that they are doing, they sell books and courses and still make more money enough to buy some expensive cars and show off so that they can continue to win the heart of people. Only few trading influencers and Livestreamer are real, the real ones does not even show off anything but they just want to teach people how to trade very well.
