Celebrating Bitcoin Pizza Day 2026

What’s the plan for Bitcoin Pizza Day this year, folks??? I've been a bit slow to jump in, but thankfully our Cleveland Bitcoin group organized something, so I can just tag along: I think my family might actually come with me to this shindig too! It’s like bitcoin is actually legit (trying to make this my catchphrase, lol)

Bitcoin pizza day is a remarkable event that we cannot afford to skip without having something to say about it, maybe in my own case, I will just find a location to grab an idea of using bitcoin to buy pizza and eat that day or make my own homemade pizza to mark the event, I guess there will be a lot of activities like pizza contest as well on the forum at the meta section to also Mark the day, what are historic day to always remember about Bitcoin pizza, while the most important thing is the story behind this.

Wow that's nice. Thanks to Rhino bitcoin. But unfortunately, I won't be able to make it. I am oversees. Wish I could be there. A good way to network and meet my fellow bitcoin accumulators. What am I doing for Bitcoin Pizza Day? Eating pizza of course.   I just haven't decided whether I make my own bitcoin themed pizza or simply order one. Usually I make my own, but it will be abbusy day for me so not sure I will have time. In my city there will be a meetup as well where bitcoin enthusiats get together and eat some pizza, whichis organised every year,  but unfortunately this year I won't be able to attend as I have some other obligations.

Bitcoin Pizza Day was a milestone in the history of the first real-world Bitcoin transaction. As a Bitcoin user, I will not miss this historic moment by gathering with friends in the Bitcoin community while eating pizza and reminiscing. Things that happened in the past are the most interesting topics to discuss, such as if at that time "Hold Bitcoin" in large amounts, maybe now you would be a new rich person. Of course, a simple discussion like this will bring back memories of stupid things we did in the past that can make us laugh. Bitcoin Pizza Day is also a reminder of why we should always hold Bitcoin.

Did Laszlo Hanyecz exchange 40000 BTC for 8 pizzas, not 10000 BTC for 2 pizzas? It's truly a big milestone in Bitcoin history.

I also saw that a meetup to honor the relevance of the day in my city was also set up, I posted about the event last two years because I was shocked that there is a community outside the forum that knows so much about the history of bitcoins, not just how to invest in it. I have not attended any of these events, maybe I will try to attend this years own.

Is there a free flight ticket for people outside of your country ? Just kidding but wouldn't mind if it's possible and I truly Love things like this and there was also some time i tried hosting something similar, though not with pizza but having a gathering of people with like minds but my community tuned it down for several reasons and made me felt left alone in my ideas but its all good. I don't know if the pizza contest on the forum would be hosted this year because I've also read some post about such events in the past and would love to partake for the fun and prize if I have the chance and time to.

Of course the there's no way a meaningful enthusiast will celebrate the bitcoin pizza day without giving the courtesy remark to the man Laszlo Hanyecz who created the pizza day legacy. As a bitcoineer and a core community member of bitcointalk forum, it's always obliged to participate on this remarkable event. In fact, I assume the pizza day to be Christmas Day for every bitcoineers especially those who're in the position to use it to make payments because the cause of the pizza day is as a remark that bitcoin was used to pay for service in the very first time. So it's indeed a historical day to be celebrated.

That sounds like a very good idea, to order some pizza on that day and celebrate the bitcoin pizza day. If I can recall correctly, I have only ordered a pizza once for myself during my birthday some years ago, didn’t get the best taste i desired and haven’t been a fan of eating it. Maybe for the cause of this Pizza Day, I’ll try and order another one from another place to have a taste again, maybe this time it’ll feel different and I get to order it more often and celebrate grandiose on Bitcoin Pizza Days. I have not really seen one happening around me yet which of course I have a feeling it is happening is some parts of my country as well. I’ll be on a lookout for one or maybe we get to organize ours for the first time sponsored by us, for those close by around I know and are bitcoin enthusiasts too.

Practicing my Pizza making skills as to not embarress myself in the next Pizza contest on Bitcointalk And I am getting better and better. Fear me. My pizza will be supreme. Maybe it will even have a cheese crust.  Although I am still trying to figure out how to incorporate the Bitcoin symbol in such a way that has not been done before. Simply drawing it on using some kind of sauce or cheese as others do seems to have been done again and again...

Some free pizza on a Bitcoin pizza day celebration that should be the highlight of the occasion really, on a more serious not I think this is a great avenue to enjoy relax and also educate and enlighten more people about Bitcoin. To bad that I haven't been to Cleveland Ohio but if not now then subsequent years I believe I and other Bitcoin enthusiasts can take a page from you guys book and do something similar in our locality.

This Bitcoin Pizza Day will be a historic reminder of how Bitcoin became the first transaction tool with a pizza. Every year this forum always holds a Bitcoin Pizza Day contest, and this year there will probably be a lot of participants who come along with a variety of pizzas that are quite delicious and interesting. It would be nice if he posted “happy Bitcoin Pizza day”   Every bitcoin community is now almost celebrating Bitcoin Pizza day in May, there seems to be a lot of enthusiasm, making pizza that will be more impressed if you want to be simpler and don't want to bother Pizza outlets are everywhere to buy it. Pizza contests on the forum will always have many participants.

I've never celebrated Bitcoin Pizza Day in my life. But if I want to, I would probably recreate the famous Laszlo Hanyecz BTC transaction by ordering pizza and paying with Bitcoin. I would need other people to order it for me. Need people who are from different countries than me. It can be vice versa too, so I can be the guy who orders pizza for you and you pay me with BTC I am also thinking about joining [2026] Bitcoin Pizza Day on Bitcointalk 🍕. But I've never made a pizza before, so I don't know how to make a pizza. Probably I will learn from zero, and if it's good enough, then I will join.

Honestly it will be interesting if Lazio join in the celebration of bitcoin pizza day in the forum by just posting Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day, he has made history that can never be forgotten it’s a celebration that will continue till the end of the world except bitcoin is no longer in existence, I’m very sure lazio will be so happy he did what he did because if he had not done it his name won’t be this popular, his a great man.
