CoinTerra is thrilled to share the details of our inaugural ASIC chip the GoldStrike1, or GS1. This 28nm chip is set to be among the top performers in Bitcoin mining, boasting a hash rate surpassing 0.5TH while consuming under 1 watt/GH. We’ll drop more info later this month before starting preorders. Expect the GS1 chips to be available in late Q4 2013. Our site will be up for preorders soon, offering different options for one or more GS1 units.

Any idea of price per GH/s? I am trying to decide to wait for you, or order through KnC.

So where are the specs?  Weird I know to expect some specs not ballpark estimates in a threat titled "specs".

If you are ok with discarding your KNC product in a couple of months after purchase, then go for it.

Once their price is in, it's a fairly straightforward business-school exercise to calculate the better deal.  Of course, that calculation requires one to know when the two might arrive, and since they're both pre-orders, nobody knows that. Thus, the best answer is:  if both offer refund, buy 'em both.  When one provides you with your hashing solution - or fails to do so in timely, "promised" fashion- refund appropriately.  (Where appropriately might actually mean both).

I read your first reply and am excited to see your prices when they are released. I will wait for you before making a decision anywhere else.

What the hell is this "reserved" business?  Is it like ticket scalping or BFL pre-orders that we can sell on ebay?   For sale:  Post number 7 on CoinTerra's announcement thread.  Buy It Now for 1.5 BTC.  Details at zombo dot com. reserved.

Your new GT-R comes with a 6 cylinder turbo V6 and a dual clutch transmission, around 20mpg and top speed of 200mph.

Some of the other 28nm folks are yet to reveal their full specs, we will wait too until we are ready to take preorders.

Pre-orders were inevitable they have to raise several million to meet NRE costs, although their previous statement of 'well-funded' was a bit of a red herring. Are you guys considering hosting as well, is so any pricing details there?

Lol, a new face probably shouldn't be subtly bashing their competitors. Regardless, I'd stay well away from the pre-order game.
