Do you guys think that if this discussion goes well, it could actually boost Bitcoin adoption and affect its price in the market? Let’s keep it clear this ain't about politics. I'm not bringing it up in a political or social context, just thinking about the potential effects on Bitcoin. We've seen people talking about the market hitting $150,000, and it seems like we need something big to trigger that. Who knows, maybe a positive outcome here could help us reach an all-time high. What do you all think? Let's chat about it.

I read somewhere in the news where Putin mentioned something related to the war and hie the war in Ukraine could have been averted if Donald Trump had been the president of the United States at the time when the war started. I am sure there is going to be an end to the war, this war has affected the global economy for a long and seeing the latest developments, there is hope sight for peace to return to the troubled region. But talking of the impact of that talks on bitcoin value and market price it will be difficult to say at this point, but overall it will be a good development that can stabilize the global market.

Maybe there is no talk about bitcoin but talk about ending the Ukraine war, this could have an impact on the global economy which is stabilizing again, right? Yeah I think this could affect the effect of bitcoin where the price could increase again, but not sure how serious the discussion of Trump and Putin is. But clearly even if they never have talks anywhere then I would assume the price of bitcoin could go to $150K this year.

Well, hopefully this war wraps up soon.  Its really done a number on the economy and things have been rocky for awhile now, especially in Europe and Russia . But every war has to end eventually so maybe theres a light at the end of the tunnel and some stability on the horizon.    As for how all this might impact Bitcoin prices specifically, thats anyones guess really.  Overall though getting this crisis resolved would probably help calm the markets. No market actually likes global political instability.

Absolutely.  World politics drives economic ups and downs.  Bitcoin amd cryptocurrency as a whole included.  Im still not sure if bitcoin would be inverse of tradutional markets (i.e. when stocks go up people move out of crypto and it goes down) or if they are tied together.  Either way less political stuff going on is good for crypto.  People are confident with putting theor fiat into financial isntruments.  More demand more higher prices.

To suggest that Bitcoin price may be affected, means the both countries are already using bitcoin officially. If the talk would affect the price of bitcoin to bull, that I don't know or I don't think that is what Bitcoin is waiting for, to complete its bull run. Russia is yet to officially approve bitcoin as their legal tender, they are still under restrictions which will not give full access to the use. Both countries might have bitcoin investors which could already add to the pull of hodlers but that won't be much reason for the price increase. Yes we might have price spiking for the moment if the seize fire is announced because of anxiety but whether that could be sustainable is not quite a guarantee. The possibility of the war stopping is high though with the level of synergy between Trump and Putin but the influence of it on Bitcoin may not be noticeable.

No, it's not about who are using Bitcoin officially, it's about them talking about ending the war. Bitcoin has commence it's bull run already, we even have a new all time high prior to the Bitcoin halving. But certainly, news like this is very positive for the market. Not just for us, but every financial market like stocks or golds could benefit from this optimism that after years or war, between Russia and Ukraine, we might see an end to it. We don't want to see soldiers from both countries and other nationalities died because of this war. And that's why this war has to stop and if both Presidents can do that, it will be a good effect on the geo-politics around the world and every market will have a good pump because of this very positive news.

Politics is definitely one of the factors that can influence the price of bitcoin as well as the stock market, so ignoring the political situation for its impact on the market may not be the right choice. If the Russia Ukraine war ends, then perhaps a positive impact on bitcoin can be expected. How many problems the world faced as a result of the war, one of which was the disrupted global economic conditions. Bitcoin adoption can be expected everywhere, including in countries at war. Ukraine and Russia may adopt it in the future regardless of its purpose, it will also have an impact on higher use cases.

the issue remains if ukraine joined EU+nato. then the eastern border of ukraine and western border of russia will remain a conflict zone both putin, EU+NATO all want eastern ukraine to be a stateless no mans land. as a gap between the rivals to protect each other from each other but zelenski wants to keep the eastern ukraine region as ukrainian. putin wont want to give up his western edge and EU+nato have no say in trying.. but EU+nato can say and have asked ukraine to give up its eastern edge as part of deal to enter EU+nato the only real peaceful options are: ukraine to give up eastern land and create this no-mans-land gap.. or zelenski to promise putin that ukraine wont enter the EU+nato agreement and instead become trade partners/sister to russia or ukraine and or russia to give up border land and create an entire new country thats not part of EU-NATO but allows both ex ukrainians and ex-russians to inhabit cohesively as for impact to bitcoin.. only some temporary price wiggles that settle back to normal economic position after the 15 minute news cycle changes back to talking about puppies

The impact of geopolitical and economic factors, it plays a special role in seeing the price increase this year. Looking at the contents of the tweets on Twitter from the post above, I think the final direction is that the agreement to adopt Bitcoin will be born at the end of the agreement between the two heads of state. Yes. The public has melted with all this and wants to live normally.

If there would be stability by the end of it - most likely it will have good effects in the future. But I highly doubt it - there is no incentive for it to happen in the near future, even in the long run too.

Since the USA under Biden administration has been a strong backbone to the Ukrainian government in this war with Russia and now same USA under Trump is now rather putting in efforts to end it then the war is surely going to end, no doubt. I believe Putin would be more than glad to end this war as much as Zelensky for the sake of their people to experience serenity and peace because the past 2yrs+ has been hell for both sides, and in extension such talks for peace of thoughtfully achieved will profoundly have a positive effect on bitcoin and cryptocurrency market since it would be having some impact on Europe economy. This could be a great achievement for Trump administration and posterity would always remember him for it.

It has been years since the start of war between Russia and Ukraine, and i almost forgot what its impact to the bitcoin. I remember correctly Bitcoin dumped so hard as many feel scared about the rumor of WW3 triggered by the war from Russia and Ukraine. Years passed and the impact from the war to the Bitcoin is almost nothing. So i think the talk between Trump and Putin does small impact to the Bitcoin. I know Geopolitical is always driving the market to be up and down, but this is a different case now. However,  we can't really sure if Russia will let Ukraine to join NATO, but hopefully it's gonna happen soon.

If the conversation even slightly touches on Bitcoin, and journalists have the opportunity to publish it, then the price of Bitcoin will undoubtedly go up. The talk about ending the war is unlikely to affect the growth of Bitcoin, especially since Trump intends to make his demands to Putin, which the latter is unlikely to agree to. At least, watching the news from both sides, I doubt that anyone is ready for a compromise.

I mean likely I guess? It's over all a positive trend type of news and I reckon seeing that we did have some market impact when the war started (and afaik, during some escalations of it), then it wouldn't be that far off. Plus if it were a success I reckon Trump would get a boost in terms of popularity and we all know how Trump has been affecting the market lately. Though I reckon between the two we'd still probably see more of an effect due to the latter than the former. I mean the wars been on going for so long really but the biggest impact was at the start. Recently? Nothing afaik, except for when something big occurs ofc.

When the war started it had some level of impact in the bitcoin market, we can't deny that. And as a result of the war may economies of different countries has been suffering. Same way I believe that if the war between Russia and Ukraine should end today, it's definitely going to affect their price of bitcoin positively. As the tension in the region will cease and economic activities back to full scale in the war torn regions. And for bitcoin to exceed the speculated amount of $150k this year, the war between Russia and Ukraine has to end. The news of the war ending alone, can bring back the thick green candles in bitcoin market.

We cant say what this may cause yet, because once it comes to the incidence of breaking news like this, we cant predict on what may comes in after it, but as e have always wanted, is that things go as planned such a way that it increases the chances of bitcoin market rise, because the overall world economy is going to feel this impact and it will definitely create a mark to reckon with on the market price on the long run. All we heard was about the talk, but we don't know in specific about what had been discussed, but whichever way it goes, once they  were both able to come into concession, then this is going to have an effect on the market provided that its such that contributes to the growth and development of the economy and the people.

I think it will be good for the market because nobody likes or want wars, as war is bad both for the economy and for human life. The war has affected the market therefore if the wars stops, it will also have an effect and it will be a positive effect. But regardless of the war ending or not, it will not stop Bitcoin from reaching a new highest price soon. Donald Trump is going to end the war in Ukraine with his negotiation skills and the relationship he has with Russian president. This war should not have happened to begin with because the requirements to end the war is something all parties involved can come together and talk it out. The war is affecting all market therefore it needs to end and if it happens in 2025, it will be very good for the market.

Whatever is going to do for the good for both parties, it has to happen if they want to stop messing with people's flesh and blood. But you're right that some geopolitical issues do contribute to the market for several factors. If it's a good one, the market reacts swiftly and it becomes positively upward. But if the opposite, then expect that there will be slow down on the markets once again and things aren't going to be good for the longs in the market, they'll be liquidated soon enough.

The war in Ukraine has contributed to several aspects that shape our society. Energy is more expensive because Russia produces a lot of oil and Gas and these are used to produce energy. Since we need energy to run electricity it is now more expensive as well. Then also Grain is a lot more expensive because both Russia and Ukraine produce a lot of it. Ukraine has been decimated and divided in new de jure borders. Also agriculture is a lot more expensive because we imported many fertilizers from Russia and many European countries imported tractors from Belarus Being forced to endure sanctions against Russia has made every western citizen's life more difficult. If our politicians play their cards right, we could reduce inflation and make prices for basic good even go down from day 1 of a Russia - Ukraine ceasefire. But do you think they're actually going to lower prices? No. They'd just let their cronies profit even more. So realistically speaking a ceasefire has the potential to make our lives better, but in reality it's going to be very hard because in the playbook of the plutocracy our lives as regular people can only get worse for their benefit and not better. One less active war front would be nice on humanitarian grounds. I for one feel very bad for my country sending armaments to a war front where hundreds of people are slaughtered every day while Ukraine fights an offensive war against Russia like they do in Kursk.
