So I think we're in a weird spot with Bitcoin right now. No new cash is flowing into BTC. That's why I see the dominance holding steady while cash is bouncing out of the low-quality altcoins.

Bitcoin is a real form of money, just like gold. Fiat currencies? Nah, they’re just debt instruments created by governments. People need to grasp this basic idea.

This situation only shows how Bitcoin stays valuable and keeps dominating the market. If any altcoins make it through the market's craziness, they could actually be worth holding onto after we've stacked enough BTC.

Honestly, I don’t think there are any solid altcoins. Most are just here for a quick pump. The few that stick around are usually centralized junk. If they vanish, who’d even care?

That’s not entirely true. Bitcoin dominance could hold steady while fresh cash enters the market. If it’s split evenly between BTC and altcoins, dominance won’t shift much. But yeah, sideways markets don’t bring in much new money.

That diagram looks outdated. My advice? Stay away from the altcoins. They’ll just drain your funds, whether it’s bear or bull markets.

I still like Monero. Most alts aren’t great for long term but can be decent short-term plays. Just don’t expect them to hit ATH anytime soon.

You guys are missing the point. Many alts are under serious sell pressure lately. Big players are shifting back to BTC. The whole idea of altcoin accumulation is pretty off right now.

It’s rare to see BTC dominance and altcoin prices both rise these days. BTC has been stuck in a tight range for ages. I seriously doubt we’ll see alts take over anytime soon.

Bitcoin dominance is going nowhere but up, especially with more adoption. The market tends to follow Bitcoin’s lead, so we gotta keep an eye on that.

I’m not buying this 'no good assets' narrative. There are inflows into BTC, which drives up prices. Just because the general trend is bearish doesn’t mean there’s no demand.

We’re in a bear market, no doubt. A lot of entities that held big Bitcoin positions have sold off. It'll take a while for fresh cash to come in again.

That chart you shared? Useful? Maybe. But I wouldn’t treat it as a gospel. Every cycle has its quirks. I’m waiting for solid signs of money moving into alts before claiming it’s an accumulation phase.

There’s definitely new money driving up Bitcoin prices, but it won’t last forever. Gotta enjoy the ride while it’s here because a downturn is always on the horizon.

Why are we talking about altcoins here? This is a Bitcoin discussion. If you wanna chat about altcoins, create a new thread for that. Let's focus on Bitcoin.

That chart isn’t reliable for assessing the current market stage. The Bitcoin landscape has been unpredictable lately. I prefer sticking to BTC, it just feels more secure than the rest.

Saying the dollar isn't money? Nah, that just shows you don’t get the definition. Money is anything accepted as payment. Bitcoin and gold are both money and assets.

What are you guys on about? The dollar is definitely money. Fiat or not, it's still a medium of exchange. Just because the state backs it doesn’t make it less valid.

I don’t see many altcoins recovering in this bear market. Most of them just follow Bitcoin’s lead anyway. If BTC is struggling, so are they.

Bitcoin basically rules crypto. When the market drops, a ton of smaller coins just vanish. Picking your assets wisely is super important.
