I know there are already threads about monthly BTC price predictions, and folks are chatting about December's prices, but that’s not really what I’m getting at here. I want to focus on something else: considering the current market trends and the ups and downs, we should at least take a shot at predicting the price based on the recent movements around the $90k to $95k range for BTC. So, what do you guys think? What are your short-term price expectations? As traders and speculators, do you think this current BTC price is a good entry point? Is now the time to grab more Bitcoin? If so, what are your short-term expectations, say from now until about mid-December?

From my experienced in the past, December is not a bad Month for the movement of bitcoin. However the price is not to impress anyone but it is at the moderate and average, and this average rate is starting from the Month of November to February next year and from March, if the market would start bear, afterward bear market would start and if it would be a bull market, thereafter the market would be rising to impress investors. The price of Bitcoin in this month December will not pass $95k because the movement doesn't look like, it will hit another $100k before the year end.

I got a little confused about the recent movement but after careful observation of the market, I think the rise has not confirmed that the market is ready for the market to continue towards the bullish market that was predominant before the correction. I'm still somehow bearish until the end of the years which is to say that the rise we are seeing now is an inducement of buyers so that the market makers can profit off them. For short time traders, when a short position is confirmed, it will not be a bad opportunity to go short with target towards $80,000. This festive period may not witness much of a momentum so short term trades are the safest to avoid being forced into the market and stocked in consolidating market.

Past experiences do not guarantee anything about future ones, especially when we are talking about the price behaviour of an asset such as Bitcoin. October is usually a bullish month, especially in a post-halving year like this one, but we didn't have an Uptober this year. I have no idea what might happen this December, but given how prices have been behaving, I wouldn't expect any major rises or falls.

This December may surprise us because I still stay bullish and I am expecting go beyond $100k this month and if we are lucky that we may see a new ATH before entering into the new year still, if unlucky, we are still going to enjoy a new ATH as a new year gift. I am speculating all these based on the fact that bitcoin is no more relying on whales and individual's participation but government and institutions will not let the price fall bigger. It means, we are going to have thin bearish weeks and not a full fledged bearish year. Sorry, I leaped to long term even you notified about short term speculation alone here. This December month would be a key like whether we are going to have usual 4 year cycle or going to break that and staying bullish to stable. I personally expect the second one.

For me, I am happy with this bull market even though bitcoin has not really reached the target I set. Like many others, I don't know what happens next but to speak about my expectations. I think, I'm going to have the opposite expectation to most people here because what I want is a bear market. I expect we are going into a bear market, and the faster and harder bitcoin price falls the better. In my opinion, to make a good profit, we need to buy at as low a price as possible. So I really expect this bear market to be as brutal as possible rather than gentle.

I believe the price will still dip below 80K to 70K level this month based on the RSI daily time frame. There’s still no sign for a potential recovery such as big news that will ignite the hype. Assuming that there will be no bad or good news I think the price trend is still bearish based on the chart alone that I’m looking using the Binance chart. The price should be pumping right now if since it’s already December if there will be a reversal on trend short term.

I still expect the price to dip further, and it's possible we could hit $80-$85k in the next few weeks if the bearish momentum continues and more people sell their Bitcoins as the end of the new year approaches, also macro factors like economic data and negative news can also dampen market sentiment and push the price lower, so I'm not expecting too much of a short-term rally.

Volities will be at it all time high this December, even in the middle towards the end, we can't say for sure which direction we may take but we must acknowledge based on current market cap and liqudities, we may not see any further major shake off of the market. Obvious, this is the best time to buy more Bitcoin, and stock up for the future expected rise in the price.

The extreme volatility in December was indeed predictable well in advance, especially after the market's aggressive, directionless movements in recent weeks. However, I agree that given BTC's current capitalization and liquidity, the "big shakeout" likely won't be as profound as it was more likely a healthy pullback before resuming its main trend. And I completely agree that a moment like this is perfect for adding to your BTC stock. Because big increases usually come when others are still hesitant, take advantage of that opportunity.

While I'm hoping it will surpass $100,000 again, it will accumulate. If we can break above $100,000 before the new year, that would be quite positive. Past events aren't a predictor of the future. We saw this in October and November as well. Many people predicted positive increases in these months and predicted a repeat, but that didn't happen. Still, I think December could surprise us.

Looking at the season we are in which is mostly associated with the expenses rather than active investments due to the festivity, those who look to invest would often be the business people that feasts on the season’s business which isn’t about cryptocurrencies. So, I expect more of withdrawals rather than deposits in the Bitcoin market, leading to a ranging market for Bitcoin. I don’t expect anything explosive about Bitcoin price, it well can range between $85k-$95k for the remainder of the year.

If we talk about the price of Bitcoin in December, then it is only a correction, since last November the price of Bitcoin was in a huge decline, but this December it touched $93k and from there the price of Bitcoin started dumping and it touched $89k. But if I say naturally, then the possibility of Bitcoin's price increasing this week is very low because we have already started the journey of Bitcoin's price towards a bear market. So at this time the possibility of Bitcoin's price increasing is very low, but at this time the price of Bitcoin has become a good time to buy. For those who will hold Bitcoin for the long term, the only good time is to increase their holdings.

Expect in the short term bitcoin to return above $100K more and even want to touch ATH again so that some people can sell their coins and then go for a year-end vacation. Some people still expect bitcoin to rise and don't want any more downturns while those who want to buy BTC want the price to continue to fall so they can buy more BTC. My prediction for the month of December will not be much different from now, maybe it will not touch $100K again.

In the past, December has always been a good month, but seeing how bitcoin price currently is still in its recovery phase, hence I don't expect too much from it. Maybe if we can hit $95k until this year ends, that's already a good price for bitcoin, at least it didn't dropped lower than $80k this time. However, we can't still guarantee that history may repeat, we should always be prepared whatever unexpected in bitcoin. The important thing is, we won't sell at loss.

As at the time I was  making this post Bitcoin price was  seating at $89k which I believe present a good entery point to buy more Bitcoin and hold. And going to specifically urge those folks who have not yet started with bitcoin, to make haste and accumulate as much they can and hold for long term, because Bitcoin market has presented a good entery point, so if you buy now you are buying Bitcoin at a cheaper rate. Although I have seen some person's speculating that the bitcoin market will be bullish In this month of December, while some speculated that  the market will be bearish in this month of December, well am not that good in speculating, but with the look of things and with the little statistics I have carried so far made me believe that the bitcoin market will be bearish in this month of December.

I am not a trader but a small and short term investor and I can say that this position is a fairly suitable position to invest in Bitcoin. We have seen Bitcoin reach an all time high of over $126,000 and from there we have seen Bitcoin fall to $80,000. There were many people who wanted to buy Bitcoin at a very low price when the price went up and they thought that they might not be able to buy Bitcoin at any other price but I think that the right time has come for those who were hoping to buy Bitcoin at a very low price. If they can invest in Bitcoin and hold on to it at this moment then I think they can make a lot of profit in the short term because Bitcoin will not be in this position very soon and I expect it to cross $100,000 by this December.

Bitcoin is on a support around $90,000 and that has been the reason it has been struggling to cross that area but the challenge there is, it is not quite certain where the price will swing to when it finally pass that level.  However rather than a bear, I think it will go back. Upper levels are likely to be achieved if another bull set in. My speculation for short isn't going too deep but expecting a more volatile market. The whales won't allow the price to deep, that's where the turn around might start.

My own speculation is that we are not experiencing any high in the month of December, we may not get pass $100K through out the month of December, there is no chart reading to back up my speculation, I just feel this way reading the market movement so far, this is looking like a bear come soon and probably an end to our ATH for 2025. The current Bitcoin price is okay for long term investment, short term are usually the difficult ones to predict and price doesn't look to be positive anytime soon, anybody planning to buy now and sell by end of Dec or beginning of the year, should be comfortable also if the market doesn't move positive and we head towards the bear season directly.

Bitcoin can sometimes move with a surprise, either to bring us joy and excitement, or to pull us down and feel devastated. So I'm not bothered actually, bitcoin will be bitcoin at the end of the day. But to answer the question, I think bitcoin will not create a big difference this year end, especially that I'm seeing its still struggling to get back into $100k. But who knows, bitcoin will create a big twist again, and surprise us with a very amazing price increase. That's why we need to stay hodling despite how btc price inevitably rise and fall in the market.
