So, after Elon Musk sold off a billion bucks worth of $TSLA shares, we all noticed the stock jumped over 6% that Monday. I'm actually thinking about grabbing some shares before the price goes up again, but I've been trading it for now. I usually stick to spot trading to play it safe since I mostly deal with crypto, but trying out stock futures has been pretty interesting. I started with $TSLA to ride the wave of hype and then moved on to $NVDA to broaden my trading experience since I can trade both crypto and stocks on the same exchange. Every trade gets me closer to snagging some extra shares. Any fellow crypto traders out there ever try to cash in on stock trading?

The question you want to ask is that 'have we traded tokenized stocks before'. A good example is the TSLAX (a tracker certificate issued on Solana SPL and ERC20 tokens) that tracks the price of TSLA which is the Tesla stock. I have seen it on exchanges like MEXC and Gate, but I have not traded them for now. I will try to trade them on the exchange and see how they are, but that will be later.

If there's one thing I know, it is that futures trading is a high leverage derivative instrument that helps to very much amplify risk and reward and it always requires a very different money management technique than stocks trading.  It is imperative to remember that investments in stocks on the other hand, are simply for long-term investment plans and futures for short term price speculation or hedging for easy returns. However, trading stocks on a regular is not an endeavor I hope to delve in for now, due to other investment plans that much funds and allocation of resources need, in order to get the best benefits, afterall, it is said to only trade with funds one can afford to lose .

I wouldn't say it's a bad idea to explore stocks as well, but I would prefer trading them on a long term basis. I have a couple of accounts with platforms that offer other financial investment types such as stocks, bonds, indices, but the most common thing is that the Retail investor or trader is mostly not welcome. The bar is always too high, and they look at folks with very huge amounts of money. Seeing tokenized stocks in crypto exchanges in more than welcome as it tries to bridge that gap. You just have to be so-careful not fall for some shady token.

I have.. traded tsla yesterday when I heard the news about Elon latest purchase of $1b into TSLA shares and the company's announcement of expansion of their robotaxi programme. Took a long on Bitget . What also motivated me is the opportunity to earn TSLA just from trading stock futures on the platform, you can consider the offer if you feel like doubling up

Yes, I didn't clarify that, I meant 'tokenized stocks' and I actually tested $TSLA on Bitget and it even had some extra perks running where active traders could get bonus shares on top, which made it a nice add-on while trading. And for me, who was testing the waters, the perks was at the right time.
