Hey everyone, we're kicking off another group buy from Hashingpower. Some users here asked for a new solo mining group buy, so here it is. We're starting right after the next difficulty adjustment. Looking for around 10-20 users for each 0.005 BTC, 0.01 BTC or more BTC to join in. Having too many participants won’t help, since it’ll just cut down the profits too much. If anyone wants to contribute less than the minimum, we'll calculate rewards based on the BTC they put in. We’ll be renting hashing power on MiningRigRentals and going for it in the solo pool. You can track how things are going via the Live View link. That’ll show our hashing power and our best shares. If a block gets found, the rewards will be split among all the participants. In the past, we’ve managed to find 10 blocks which got us 193 BTC! Here's the block list: 385022, 394940, 394946, 395087, 396941, 399709, 401934, 706369, 712217, 780525. If you're interested in joining, please send your BTC to this address: bc1qay3yk0ew90rvx20mmj4s3ep8x8997kvlf8pexp and let us know you're in using the template below: Only send your coins if there's still a spot open. To make things easier this new year, I’m changing up how reservations work. Starting now, you can reserve spots for 2, 5, 10, etc. block party runs in advance. If someone backs out, that spot will be freed up for someone else. We'll kick things off with Blockparty Run 2025-1, and if someone sends in 20 x 0.01 BTC, we’ll go from there.

Sry to interrupt and being a little offtopic but I know mining by providing hashrate pays but what is a “Found Block” is it like an easter egg or something? Edit.. Do you mean you’ll solo mine and maybe you’ll mine one yourself from the hashrate bought using the group’s crypto? So it’s more on luck here and you’ve likely mentioned everything that could go wrong and not being liable even if no block was found (mined) am I correct here?

yes we buy hashrate with coins we have collected in our Blockparty and fire it up to the solo pool. if we find a block, it will devided to the user. if we found no block, it was unlucky and the coins are gone. lets try next round, same agaign. If you do solo mining is can be the big jackpot or you lose all. no return from me if we do not find a block. Take a look in the first topic, you can see some links (Blockpartys) we have found some blocks. Best regards, Willi

For those thinking that this is a stupid idea because your $1000+ could be gone for good, think about buying a solo miner for that price and how long you have to wait, you might never solve a block for many years to come and this offer is better because the chances of finding a block is far greater than using the money to buy a solo miner. Good idea OP, but the reality will hit very fast, I mean this offer isn't going to be for everyone, because the majority don't have this type of money to begin with, while some will prefer to buy their own asic miner and wait for God knows whenever they will hit a block, yet those who will join will join,  all the best.

It happens every year so it’s safe to assume those 20 rounds will be over within a year or so.. Initially I assumed every round will be for a month by every participant/entry-stake, It’s safe to assume those 20 rounds will be over within a year or so, not quite sure though.. A year’s gamble for a jackpot, not a bad idea though considering diff going down.. So if I get it correctly then if a block is found in 7th round and it had 10 participants, then the 10 btc mined block will be shared among those 10.. obviously those who provided 0.01 btc for the round will get a a sight bugger amount compared to someone who participated with 0.005 or 0.0025 Btw do you also get extra bitcoins if your rig confirms some transactions.. but not the block..

Yes depending on your share (BTC) will be your reward calculated. You can put your Mine also into the round, but this will be nothing change on your reward (if we find a block).
