hey everyone, I’m in a bit of a jam here and could really use some guidance. I’ve got 22.70 USDT just sitting in my Tron wallet, and I can’t do anything with it. I want to either exchange it or withdraw it and I'm even up for gambling it on some site. At this point, I just want to use it. But every time I try, it wants like 14 TRX for energy, which is around 4 bucks, and I’m not about to pay 20% of my cash just to move it. That seems ridiculous. Here’s my wallet address: "TFUqMVnFNF2PUT7hG6zdXmExt3USEDP5wP". I have the private keys and full access, but I just have zero TRX for the gas fees. Is there any way to swap this without needing to buy TRX first? Or maybe a service that will take the fee directly from my USDT? These fees are making me feel pretty frustrated.

That $4 worth of TRX for fee is high have you tried using Tronlink to see how much the fee will be their, and sometimes just have to fund your wallet with tron but you might not be charged up to that amount when the transaction will execute. You can’t do anything in any network without using its native token to settle gas, so you must get the TRX first before looking for any other option even in wallet swap options you will still need that TRX in other to approve the transaction.

You have the private key, which means that's not a centralized platform and yet you want a free swap? Not going to work. If you control the key, you will be responsible for swap, send and others with that wallet address. You need TRX as fee to send the USDT but you wouldn't be spending that $4 worth of TRX, unless the network is busy. My suggestion, fund the $4 TRX, send out the USDT and when you're done, send out the remaining TRX to where you want.

The easiest way is buying a litle TRX, sending it to that wallet, and using it for the transaction fee. Another way is trying with Tron Faucet on mainnet, I don't use any faucets in the list which I found from searching only. OP must check those faucets if he does not want to buy TRX. https://tron-faucet.com/ If account registration is required, don't use emails that already used for exchange registration.

which is this wallet you hold usdt in tron network? i think you can't withdraw your usdt with low fees, because i don’t know tron network is always busy, in my trust wallet i have 1.8 usdt (tron), i have been tried to withdraw several times, but i'm strength when i see it’s require fees is 3$+ worth trx, usdt (tron) withdrawal fee is too much expensive.

That's the gas fee of TRON network for now and I don't think that there's anything you can do about this. There's no way you can pay a lower fee to pull out your money. Take the risk and pay with $4 to avoid all these drama and worries. After all, you said that you don't mind gambling with the money in your wallet.

Try any of these : NeedTRX — swaps USDT (TRC-20) for TRX even when your wallet balance is zero. TokenPocket — its “Energy Rental” lets you send USDT on Tron by paying fees with USDT instead of TRX. Little bit technical skills required. If you do not have that, you will have to spend $4 in fees.

There are services that can get you some gas without you spending much. I just can't get the right links at the moment but try to look out for such services. They can be quite helpful when you are in a crisis. Check out this list, beware of scams 1. https://netts.io/market

Tron is the new Ethereum because of its excessive gas fees. If you're desperate OP, I'll try the suggestion of people here but I won't expect it will end good. Because to take out your USDT there, you'll have to add gas fee. But if someone has tried what he's said for swapping without the need for gas fee, much better and just exchange all of it into TRX for in transaction to save.

Funny how Ethereum upon its creation used to bash Bitcoin for having high transaction fees only for it later to get in a worse situation. The self-confessed Ethereum killers such as TRON then came in claiming they would have far much lower fees than Ethereum but here we are today   Bitcoin no has much lower fees, Ethereum now has low fees. Meanwhile, some saviors seem to be in need of the saving

They have been passing it on to another project for having high fees. It truly is funny when they have described that first with Bitcoin. And they have proclaimed it that these projects were the ones to solve Bitcoin's scalable and high fees issue. But it's a domino effect that whichever altcoin is trying to beat bitcoin with that problem, they're the ones absorbing it on their own and has to solve their own.
