I can't find my BTC

Back in early 2018, I was mining using Kano, and I set up my rewards to go to what I thought was my Trezor wallet. Honestly, I didn’t have any other wallets. I racked up over 100 payouts that added up to just over 0.4 BTC. I stopped mining around mid-2018. Now, fast forward to today. I plug my Trezor into a new computer, download the app, and update the firmware, but my balance is nowhere near that 0.4 BTC. I can't find any of those transactions in my history. Just a few smaller ones from years ago are there. I thought maybe I misremembered my mined amount, but I checked Kano, and it still shows just over 0.4 BTC like I remembered. So where did it go? What’s frustrating is I definitely would have checked my wallet balance after mining, especially after the first payout because I wanted to see it confirmed. Now, after the firmware update, I have a new address. Is there any chance I can figure out if the address on Kano matches my old Trezor address? I’m kinda lost here.

Did you make those smaller transactions to the same address or to a new address? And didn't you check your Trezor after those transactions? I assume Kano shows which address it went to. You can check it in a block explorer. So it should still be there. Do you have the seed words for your Trezor? That's normal: you should use a new address for privacy. But the old addresses should still be there. Maybe it's a caching problem. I've seen this on Ledger several times. Does your Trezor app give any option to wipe it's cache or something to force a recheck?

Yes all the transactions were made to the same address. Yes Kano shows the address all the payments were sent to. I’ll try a block explorer for that address. Yes I have the seed words for my Trezor. I’ll have to check on the cache and report back.

In that case, if you have access to some of the later transactions, you should have access to all transactions. Worst case you can export the private keys from your Trezor (using third party software offline), but I assume the Trezor software can handle this too. With over 100 inputs, you're going to want to read my topic on consolidating inputs so you don't waste too much money on fees once you can access your Bitcoin.

@A.Delaney, you are not the only one who encountered this problem, but the matter can be quite banal and easy to solve if you just need to enable the accounts you had before, but now they are not enabled after the firmware upgrade - go to settings -> crypto tab and look what is there. If that doesn't help, maybe you used a passphrase (additional protection in the form of a password) that you need to enter to gain access to the account - the seed you have is correct, but it is possible that you can only see the account that is not protected by the passphrase. I found it!!!  It was in a hidden wallet that was passphrase protected. I did not see that before. Thank You both so much!

Always good to see coins get found. Most of the time this section talks about lost coins and I would venture to say many times they are not recovered.

It's a bit misleading to call it a passphrase if the Trezor wallet told you to enter some text that will be combined with your seed phrase, since this combination will literally derive different addresses, private keys, master private keys, and so on. It can be a bit tricky to remember, which is why you *always* have to write down the seed passphrase if you are using that particular feature.

This is certainly good news and perhaps another opportunity to warn all those who will someday find this topic to understand how important it is to keep such sensitive data safe. Over the years, here on the forum, there have certainly been dozens of cases where people claimed that they had the correct seed, but that their balance was still 0 when they did a wallet recovery - and in a good part of the cases it was precisely the fact that they had forgotten that they had an account that was protected by passphrase.
