So, I've mentioned this before, but I've wrapped up my dollar-cost averaging phase and started doing some regular DCA: - I sold off 20% of my total BTC when it first hit 100K USD. - Then, I sold another 20% when it reached 110K USD. - And again, I sold 20% when it hit 120K USD. So, that means I’ve sold 60% of my BTC. I was planning to sell another 20% once BTC hit 150K USD and then the last 20% when this season’s bullish trend officially wrapped up. It sucks that I can't wait until BTC hits 150K USD. Today, I got rid of all my BTC and top coins for USDT to prep for the DCA strategy in the next cycle. The BTC dropping below 100K USD made me act fast. I’m worried that BTC and the whole crypto market might keep dropping even more, maybe to 70K USD or even down to 35K USD. I know I might kick myself if BTC bounces back up to 150K USD or even 500K USD in the next couple of weeks, but I’m sticking to my strategy to save my capital and profits this season. I’m not about to risk losing it all! I’m curious about what you all are doing during this tough time: Have you taken any profits this season? Are you still holding on for the moon or waiting for a set target? Think the crypto market is about to recover and shift back to an uptrend?

The way bitcoin is falling, I do not think the market will recover anytime soon, but this could be the beginning of the bear market. This kind of downtrend resembles bear market time but let us see what will happen but I am not expecting anything for now. Bitcoin may still fall further.

I'm still optimistic about this, but I just need to adjust to the circumstances. Major events like Christmas, New Year's, and the upcoming World Cup are already starting to emerge. Historically, these events provide a glimpse into price history, as these periods are characterized by significant cash requirements for individuals, large businesses, and institutions. But once again, we still feel comfortable here because we're surrounded by people who understand and don't discourage our hopes and aspirations to continue working through investing. We can see the advice and developments in market performance, along with recommendations on what to do now and how to navigate difficult situations like the present.

Bitcoin's price will really struggle to recover during this period, especially since it's currently below 100K,andsofarit′sevenbelow90K, which truly indicates we're in a bearish momentum. It's also possible that we're entering a bear market. However, I'm also aware that many in the crypto community are already prepared for situations like this happening with Bitcoin's price. So, those who sold when Bitcoin was around or above $100K, congratulations to them because they didn't make a mistake. As for those who haven't sold yet, I think it's still okay.

It is the beginning of the end for Bitcoin this bull market, we are now starting the bear market and no whales can save the market right now, even altcoins aren't doing anything similar to the last altcoin season, this is very bad. So the last altcoin aseson was the Trump meme coin, that was the end and no one saw it coming, not even me myself, and I ended up losing more than I have made, I have learned another fresh lessons it seem.

If you have sold already, then as long as it meets your objective, you have done well. Hope you will be able to enter again when the bear market is finally confirmed to be able to replace the coins you have sold. My greatest about selling is the possibility of replacing the coins because the temptation to use the money for other things will be high.

Really the market massively dropped recently and with low hope of recovering before the Year 2025 comes to an end, but sure one thing I know is that in 2026 whatever level of bear market that may have plegued the market will definitely eas off and marking the beginning of another phase of the market. But this is the best time to buy more Bitcoin f you have the resources to do so since at the moment you have the chance to buy at low price just the same way the ops have sold at high price allegedly.

What makes it a shame? You sold your Bitcoin at a price you are comfortable with. Not everyone of us agreed to sell at $150k. Some sold at a price below $150k, some are hodling for Bitcoin to reach $150k before selling, and they are confused whether to continue hodling or sell at the current price below $92k. This is what I can't tell. I'm leaving my fate in long term not in this short term because it is unpredictable to see what happens next in the market in the coming months

I took profits during the Bitcoin halving last year. Although I didn't celebrate when it reached 100k, my profit target at that time was met. Of course, I will continue to try to stick to the four-year holding cycle as usual, because it has become my main principle with my family to believe in the growth of Bitcoin investment. To close out this year, despite some wild speculation about Bitcoin recently, suggesting it will reach over $200k in the next 45 days, as a small investor, I must be realistic and not be easily swayed. If it is time for a bear market, I am ready to buy in early 2026.

Bitcoin and even altcoins appear unlikely to recover anytime soon. The crypto market appears to be exhibiting negative sentiment and even will likely continue to experience a correction for some time. The Fear & Greed Index also indicates that the market is experiencing extreme fear (Source), where it is indicating a weakening market due to market participants exerting selling pressure. We don't know how long Bitcoin's correction will last. But Bitcoin's current condition indicates that altcoins will also follow the downtrend. This also seems to indicate the absence of a potential alt season by the end of this year. So we need to decide on a smart investment strategy based on the current market conditions or even the current situation.

That is okay, as long as you've made a profit and plan to DCA back when it goes down. All the regret will be gone if you didn't follow your plan. I guess that you did better than the majority who are waiting for the $150k. - Yes, I did took my profits already. - I do have my next targets and so, I am not yet out of the market. - I hope so. We're not yet out of the bear market like what others believe too.

You have made your investment decision and you might be taking a good decision. So no need to express regret even if price begins to climb back. The market seem to have broken daily support and that means we can have more free fall going forward. Although today looks like bitcoin recovered some dollars but that might be a correctional positioning for more fall in days to come. I think people should not rush to invest while the market is still falling because you can't determine the extent of the fall just immediately while it is still falling. I believe the best time to buy is when the fall has been exhausted and you can know that by the formation of the candles. If you buy at the beginning of bull, you will have fast profit better than following the market down first before it starts to rise back.

Why would you feel ashamed of if you can't hold until we see $150k? this is your strategy and there is no need for you to feel bad if you've sold more than 50% of your BTC holdings. If this decision of yours saved you from the current market and the price starts to go down as an indication that we're soon to get into the bear market, you'll have to thank yourself then. Each of us have target prices and strategies on how we'll enjoy this bull run, you just did your job and did something while the others just kept of waiting and did nothing.

I don't think the price of Bitcoin will be $150k this season. Some people think that the bear market has started and some people are still optimistic. Maybe the market will increase a bit but not too much. You have no reason to regret. If you had planned for the long term you could have made more profit. Now you prepare for the next cycle. I don't think the crypto market will recover anytime soon, it might take some time. In fact, the crypto market is unpredictable, so it's impossible to say anything accurately.

I will say you made a wise decision by offloading your positions and now you should be ready to start DCA again because we might soon enter the bear season and it will only give you opportunities to buy and not to sell. I do not think we can recover from this dump, we will only see the price going further down and this will only make situation worst if you are still holding your positions so you have saved yourself some mental pressure by selling everything. I do not think you should leave the markets just yet. You can start another DCA and can continue buying for maybe another 6 months so you can start RDCA and start booking profits again. You will have to be way more patient than you were in the bull run.

That's great, even if you're not celebrating at $100K if you might get a 2x profit that's a lot, especially buying at the base price a few years ago. The 2-5x increase in bitcoin is every 4-year cycle --- keep holding like this. Haha sometimes wild predictions are unrealistic by saying $200K more in 45 days means in a month more bitcoin must increase 120% which I don't know where this data comes from. If the market has shown bearish then it's time to accumulate again.

It has always recover whenever this kind of dip happens and so it's no new to anyone anymore because that's just the historical repeatative of what had happened in the past. I don't feel to panic or let anyone to be panic, in as much as the crypto market is still volatile and moving, the possibility of going uptrends is certain but not sure about the time.

Not only you, but alot of people are now taking a step back to relax a bit from their active market actions that have taken over the major part of their life during the months of this year, so also this is the best time to actually take a break off the market for a while and at least return back in the next new year 2026, that time you have enough money to keep holding without fear of losing out.

1. Offloaded some but i'm still holding good amount of bitcoin and other alts, it was bleeding so hard ngl. 2. My target is always $200k 3. If there's good news, maybe. But it seems the market isn't doing so well. I'm still optimistic regardless, because it's basically out of my control.

Recovery will take months now and yes OP made a good decision so there is nothing to regret. Even I might be one of those people who think we have finally entered the bear cycle and prices might continue going down before we can see another ATH which will follow in the coming years. As of now, I have more bearish sentiments similar to thousands of people so I think there is high possibility of entering a bear season and this will be a year long season so we should be prepared to see further dumps as well. There were chances of recovery if we were plummeting around $100,000 for a while but that did not happen and we saw the further dump which made it clear to me that bears are getting stronger.
