So, here’s the thing: whenever Bitcoin's dominance goes up and its price increases, we usually see altcoin prices and their dominance taking a hit. Any trader can check this out for themselves. Just take a look: BTC dominance rising 🚀 + BTC price rising 🚀 = Altcoin prices dropping 💎〽️ This pattern happens all the time, honestly can't recall any instance where it didn't. Because of this, I built a handy tool 🛠️ to help get a quick read on the altcoin market. It features 7 options, and by clicking any of them, you can quickly check the altcoin price status on the right. 👉 Check out the Altcoin Market tracker.

Bitcoin dominance is mostly being felt on altcoin performance, this is not the first time this will be happening, being the leader in cryptocurrency, bitcoin has everything it takes to move the market and make it react towards the particular direction, and whenever bitcoin is falling, also create a serious implication on other coins to react in similar pattern and that is where we are seeing some of these performances with the altcoins this season.

There is nothing people can do about the dominance Bitcoin have over altcoins. I think majority of the altcoins we have in the market can not move on their own without being influenced by the price of Bitcoin. Once the price of Bitcoin starts falling, almost all altcoins will find it difficult to resist the influence from the price of Bitcoin and all we often see is sharp fall which can be serious and severe that the extend the price of Bitcoin has reached. I don't know if this is the way the crypto market is programmed but that has been the way price has been moving.

This is also one reason why people prefer to invest in Bitcoin only because price of alts goes up only in case price of Bitcoin goes up. Bitcoin is driving the crypto market and those who have spend years in crypto market knows this fact very well. Due to this reason dominance of Bitcoin will increase in days to come. This dominance of Bitcoin effects only top alts like Ethereum, BNB while rest of alts are risky and they have rear chance of going up because they don't go up once they are down.

There were times that when the dominance of bitcoin has so much and a lot, that even in altcoins dominance decreases but the price of those have also followed bitcoin's price. Which means that the alts had pumped a lot as well. But those where the few times when the market was in the bull run that it had become proportional to each other.

Oversimplified. If there's a pattern, how would you know which alts to pick? If there's more money flowing to altcoins in different phases of bitcoin cycle, wouldn't it matter more to know what sized market caps are affected on which phases, or if there are different themes that are affecting to sales? Like RWA, piracy, scaling, new kind of protocols or names. Because some of this money flow is temporary and some coins are not going to be a part of any big altcoin season.

Good infographic test, kudos to at least giving it a try, many people do not use that much effort when starting a new topic at least you did the work. Secondly, it's really not that complicated, when there is a bear market, bitcoin is strong one so people get out of their alts they do not trust, and hold bitcoin, but when the price skyrockets, the bitcoin dominance gets lower because we end up with something that would not be all that easy to handle, it's definitely a different lower number for it to happen.

Not saying this is wrong, because there are cases where it could be right. But if bitcoin price goes up, then altcoin prices go up as well, and while bitcoin dominance could rise even more, because bitcoin price goes higher than altcoin prices are, it still doesn't mean that altcoin prices are crashing. An example, you said if bitcoin price is going up, and bitcoin dominance goes up, and altcoin dominance goes down, then it equals to altcoin prices to decline. How about we have bitcoin going up 50%, and altcoin prices going up 10%? That means bitcoin price is up, bitcoin dominance is up, altcoin dominance is down, and yet altcoin prices are higher.

Actually, this news is a common occurrence if you are a long-time player or have been involved in the Crypto world, you must be familiar with this four-year cycle, where all markets move according to the price of Bitcoin, which we know will have an impact on the price in the altcoin market. This is not just an assumption but has become a tradition in my opinion, does everyone feel that?
