Hey everyone, I came across this analysis today claiming that BTC price is set to hit $45k. Any thoughts on whether that's legit? Thanks!

According to my analysis as well, it points towards $45000 but with how everything is right now, I do not know if it is possible because technical analysis may not be true all the time. In fact my analysis points to $39800 but I do not know how it can be possible because of how bitcoin has been adopted recently.

Hello, Thank you so much for your reply. I bought SUI at $1.80 and if Bitcoin falls, naturally SUI will fall too. Wouldn't it be better if I sell SUI now at a smaller loss and then buy SUI back at a lower price when Bitcoin falls?

The possibility is there for bitcoin to drop hard on a long time and we have to note the expectation of bear season that many believe is already happening. On a long time it can go down but the future has so many things that can reshape what we have projected and then the price begins to recorrect again without getting to the expected level. For now, we are seeing minor corrections and ranging prices which can last for the rest of the week. So no need to rush in now until probably the end of this month to know direction of price.

Nobody can give you the exact answer. If we knew, we would make a sure bet on that make lots of money. Very very long term support is around 40-45k usd so yes, there is a chance that it may visit that price range but it doesn't mean it is gonna. It only tells us if btc drops that much, it won't be staying there for long and it will be a massive accumulation opportunity. Instead of getting afraid of that prediction, do what the most people doing and keep dca'ing on your btc. Also keep some cash ready so you'll have some dry powder to buy the dip. Because it is painful to watch btc go record lows when you don't have enough cash to buy some. Don't touch leverage/futures trading. Spot only. Buy > hodl > buy  hodl > declare retirement > follow whatever fire strategy you want (like 4% withdraw per year) to cash out and live on your btc till you die. Time horizon is also important. As time goes by and btc stays above $80k, the chances of $45k happening is getting lower and lower.

In Bitcoin everything is possible because its history is interesting with current decrease is also wired, but I am not expecting anything like this is going to happen because now its much stable and have good backup which is always good. Few days back I was expecting last price could be around $75K but now development showing its turning and this can go surprisingly on good move which could be $100K as well as many times mentioned its never been easy to predict about its movement because of its nature but now as its moving chances of touching $75K are ended so $45K is also almost dead. December is going to be interesting because we are going to have some positive movement which will bring good rise in price.

I do not like to hold altcoins, I prefer just to just bitcoin. It gives me rest of mind that even if the price fall, I can buy more bitcoin so that I can make money when the price is increasing back, but many altcoins have decreased in price in the past and not get to all time high when the market is very bullish. The price of altcoins are very difficult to guess.

Same people that is made that analysis has  before made an analysis few months ago and last year and they said Bitcoin was going to surge to $200k this year but it didn't, and there's just a little hope right now that Bitcoin will surge to that before predicted $200k this year, this prediction of Bitcoin to reach $45k by these same analyst could be right or wrong, Bitcoin price doesn't respect price analysis all the time meaning it does sometimes and that's why I said they could be right or wrong. My analysis also states that Bitcoin will drop down to $45k in bear cycle and I can not say for sure when that is going to happen exactly but when the bear is serious, it can happen. Is it the same thing you read from that analysis, @OP?

It's better to sell SUI and put the money into bitcoin because only bitcoin is a long-term coin those altcoins are for short-term profits. I see altcoins as gambling and a lot of people who invested in them ended up in great loss. As for the price of bitcoin, I think that it will fall below $40k as the bottom line of the dip but I cannot give a specific price.

$45,000? maybe some major world events and fundamentals. Can you explain more to me your reasoning please? I am thinking we may have a rebound around the $71,474 range and head back up. I may be wrong too and a some shocking news drives the dip downward more, I am new to Technical analysis.

Hello, How long does very very long term support mean? I bought SUI coin and now I'm at a loss. What do you think I should do? Sell it at a loss and wait for Bitcoin to fall and buy SUI again at a lower price?

What the factor of that analyst predicting with bitcoin will dump to $45k after success recovering when downtrend to $80k, I think almost difficult for bitcoin will dump high until $45k what ever many people predicting with bitcoin has significant dumping but I am optimistic with bitcoin will bounce back more higher price. Yesterday, most lower price of bitcoin $80k and I think is support price bitcoin current price have success recovering and raise up up more than 10% based on current lower price. Better don't fully accepted any bad information sharing bad about bitcoin will significant dump, right now bitcoin on the trend for returning to higher price if you fully believe many bad news you will loss chance to buy bitcoin at lower price.

Should you ask when you already have your own answer about what is best for you to do? Technically, almost anything is possible, including a price drop to $45,000, but if you believe that will happen, then I think your decision is the best one for you. If your long-term goal is not to prioritize short-term profits but rather value and returns greater than the price, then don't.

It is possible if Bitcoin has 70% or 80% correction from its all time high in this market cycle. It is possible if history has its rhythm again in this cycle and you can check Bitcoin correction percents in past cycles. There are conditions for it to happen and you only can know it happens or not in a next two years that are very likely bearish time for Bitcoin. Target price for bear market as bottom area can be from $38k to $45k.

No way ! It's impossible that bitcoin will reach 45K $ , we will wait for the last week in Decembre  and see bitcoin raising again and maybe it will reach 130-140K$ , and for analysist who's predecting 200K $ i would say it's impossible for this year due to many causes .. we hope to see Bitcoin raise again soon , i've lost  more than 50% this month ..
