So, I just saw that Musk is gonna be on live TV this weekend, probably to show off what the fuss is about. Everyone's wondering if he’ll give a shoutout to his beloved Doge or anything about Bitcoin. The media is all over this. What do you guys think about this North American appearance? Any guesses on what he might say about Doge or Bitcoin? I mean, with Miley Cyrus performing, I can totally see her dressing up like a dog and calling herself Doge. She loves cats and has rocked cat costumes before, so who knows what these two wild personalities will pull off in this episode.

Elon Musk is a cult figure for some of the smartest people on the planet. So what he's doing with the Dogecoin baffles me. I mean, they say the Internet doesn't recognize any form of hierarchy, but I think Musk has delusions of god-like grandeur.

Basically, he is kind of joking around. DOGE is THE prototype of a useless coin or "anti-bitcoin". According to his "fate loves irony" statement, he propagated DOGE because he was sure that it will pump some day. It became a self fulfilling prophecy, also because of his tweets. On the other hand, following twitter for at least a whole Bitcoin halvening cycle, you may be aware that some - probably many - other people also wrote tweets like "DOGE!", "DOGE TO THA MOON!", and so on, which didn't get any attention. Honestly, who DIDN'T think that DOGE will pump after Musk's related weets. I wonder if he took advantage or if he just did it for the lulz.

This is the first time I have seen someone say another coin is the anti-bitcoin. What makes it so unappealing to the bitcoin maximalists and not some other coin such as ethereum? Anyways the last tweet from elon really rallied the musketeers right before the big show tonight. Think this will be the movement to mass media, whether that be good or bad for bitcoin, that crypto was waiting for. I am not sure if I have succumb to the FUD but I think most who have suffered in the past year from what has been going on in the world (and still is!) needed a break of this kind even if it is just a joke!

Probably for shit and giggles.  Anyhow, it's an interesting and bold move from him, and it's could be a win-win for his Tesla and for us crypto enthusiast as well. For bitcoin yeah, we already know that they have invested billions already pushing the price and them liquidating some to make some profit. For Doge though, he might be doing it for fun and obviously Doge is a meme coin and he just prove it. And for Tesla, still doing good I guess, and it really pump during their bitcoin announcement, but it's been trading sideways, it touches almost $900.00 in February, and around $670.00 today.

Miley Cyrus wearing Doge, its funny but its also going to be a massive promotion to the youth. Though I'm starting to look at him as the next John Macafee, this is still a big promotion for Doge. The Doge millionaire guy actually believes that Dogecoin will be a household name after this Elon announcement on SNL. Nothing to lose for Elon, he is going to win a lot of money from this.

Yeah, I think McAfee was caught promoting alt coins and got nailed by the SEC when he got caught in the US. So he was made an example for these characters not to use their celebrity status to FUD these alt coins so to pump their bags. But those in the crypto space long enough know better... well I sure hope they do. While checking some things on youtube in regards to this doge hype train, I found a song that was made dedicated to it which isn't half bad: "A~G Lexis - DogeCoin Anthem feat. ibeshocker - Official DogeCoin Song" https://youtu.be/SEHtBEbV63U Also this one for the tweet he put out earlier today a day before the call out to the public for them to "Go to the doge!" "Elon Musk Tweet vs Dogecoin Spikes" Watching the price chart when the tweets were done during the pump up in price day to day: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nlXJG0CF0o

Just let him promote to be honest, get your DOGE and hodl until the pump arrives and reap the profit, it is actually a good thing that we can predict when will a pump happens to a coin because we can make a guaranteed profot. Always follow the market because they always make you profit.

This post from the Wall Observer thread got me enthralled on what was going on with all the crypto madness happening with this particular coin: There was an interview with this investor who put all his life savings into it on the robin hood exchange (why hold it on there I do not know ): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OZMdWxJe_A There was a follow-up with an update on his holdings on the platform after today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAKKsohaaUo Up over $2.79mln is no joke. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBqwhGaE9nM But him mentioning he will only sell once it reaches $10mln. After tomorrow let us see what happens as it is reaching the $1 prediction as most were hoping for before the controversial event. Will Elon mention it or not and it dumps? I do find it strange that an alt coin requires someone of influence to mention it just once for it's dependent to either survive or die. Clip of these so called financial investors discussing about this guy's phenom investment in a cryptocurrency and not selling. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0fc3-Itg58

This guy is looking for attention, he seems to think he is a sort of superhero, but he is not, he just got the cash and feels powerful. I'm not one of the sheep to follow Musk blindly and I'm sure many others think the same.

Musk promises to "behave" on SNL tonight. Musk appears in a preview for tonight's episode of Saturday Night Live. He is joined by musical guest Miley Cyrus and cast member Cecily Strong. Musk says he'll do his best to behave, but he also added, "I'm a wild card, so there's no telling what I might do." https://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/video/elon-musk-promises-to-behave-on-snl/4357481

Absolute craziness. Why wait for 10 million when he could simply cash out his profits right now? This guy is clearly a hardcore Dogecoin HODLER though exposing himself for the sake of popularity seems like a silly move. Hackers could target him thanks to his massive investments which is why he should have stayed anonymous in my opinion. He is one fearless and gutsy guy.

Elon Musk is an excellent manager. He was always among the first to promote ideas and technologies and achieved success, having thought out all the logistics of the process in advance. That is why  Musk's opinion is trust, even it was joking. His one tweet raised the price of Doge, . It's no secret that the mass media and social networks are capable of manipulating public opinion. Many people recklessly trust the opinion of the  reputable successful individuals  and of the majority.

I agree with you on this, ELON MUSK has attained the high figure personality in the cryptocurrency space, and to have attained the title of dodge King and tesla as a business is benefiting from the high price because their investment has yielded 100 plus million dollars. That is a huge profit for the entire Elon Musk and tesla.

Don't be fooled by the hype the Elon Musk is creating, it is okay to do fundamental analysis but think twice before making decisions. I know that some of us here are a fan of Elon Musk and Tesla but don't make twitter as a medium for hyping and play with market. DOGE is what he is aiming for so that Tesla will become trending also, he is good at advertisement and no doubt, that's the reason why he became the most richest person in the world now.

He has the money, he has the time and he has found out crypto, hence he has a "new toy" he enjoys. While Bitcoin is a good store of value and a great investment vehicle (which will make Tesla look profitable even if they don't meet the shareholders' expectations as car maker), Dogecoin is a coin with big community and huge amount of hopium, which can be played. I don't know if Elon does all this pump game, I think that somebody else is profiting that Elon has this new toy and Elon just doesn't mind, since he's also on profit because of this. About what he says.. it's rather unpredictable, isn't it?

For me he's just for attention. Whrein making positive thoughts but the fact that he actually here to advertise the coins because of being popular. Indeed he always make post in different accounts especially twitter wherein afterwards those are making changes because of him.. I dont know if his belong to the whales but seems the post from him is very informative and the coins he's always mentioned is literally makes an improvement afterwards. Maybe he's a whales also?

i think hes just having fun. and the doge phenomenon is fun to play with especially when you dont really care about money (to a point anyway). sorta like hes testing doge like he tests rockets. beat it, test to destruction (or success) and learn what you can. then apply anything applicable to the real deal.. bitcoin. of course being in the media for this doesnt hurt his companies either. got my doge sells lined up on an exchange, should be fun tonight on SNL.

I think he is a hodler as well. But I also think it is because the platform he is using to hold those doge doesn't allow him to make a simple withdrawal as they have had issues in the past with alot of their customers when they want to initiate a withdrawal the system goes down. Or it simply is like paypal and their crypto wallets where you can buy the crypto but can not do anything with it. This I do not know as I am not one of their customers.
