I really enjoy taking my everyday experiences and phrases and giving them a Bitcoin twist when I'm hanging out with fellow crypto fans. It's super fun and quite informative since it lets us grasp Bitcoin culture in a way that's way more relatable and memorable. For instance: Regular sentence: The boy jumps up and down. Bitcoin version: The boy goes bullish and bearish. Regular sentence: They worked together perfectly. Bitcoin version: They reached full consensus. Regular sentence: The director controls everything about the company. Bitcoin version: The director holds 51% of the company's hash power. Share yours and let's have a good time!

Nobody communicates like that even here, why would anyone do so in real life? It is totally unnecessary and puts a target on you that you are involved in bitcoin making you $5 wrench target. Also, controlling 'everything' is different from having majority stake which is what 51%+ means - Jay -

From the OP I stated clearly that it is only when I am with my fellow bitcoin enthusiasts, so in that sense I don't see anything wrong in it. 51% hash power rate means that a particular individual or institution has majority mining power or computational power over others in the bitcoin network, so how is that not a form of control? Imagine the individual with this 51% hash rate sends a coin to someone and a merchant accepted the payment then he secretly mines another chain entirely where that transaction didn't occur. Recall that this miner has the higher computional power so the chain can become longer than the honest chain and you know the network usually accepts the longest chain. If this happens the original payment will dissappear from the network. So in this sense I think it is control, correct me if I'm wrong, I'm here to learn and improve.

Your [Fun time!] is a great idea, imo. If this community had more fun, and a lot less negativity I would come here much more often, thank you. Also, I will try to think of some ideas to actually participate.

You may not know who is listening in your discussions. You know that statement that the wall has ears. Why do you think in some cases of wrench attack the victims will be pondering on how an attacker got to know about what he got attacked for. Cause clearly he can not recall mentioning it outside apart from with his fellows. Another important thing, you do not know the minds of your fellow Bitcoin enthusiasts, people can be jealous of another for what they equally have possession of. Let learn to be as private as possible as is necessary.
