I'm on the hunt for a high-res version of that famous The Times newspaper. The best image I've come across is this one: https://talkimg.com/images/2024/01/15/3fefd.png. Does anyone have a higher quality version? I'm thinking about making a poster similar to this.

Wow that frame is very nice and gorgeous. Using that image is very ok but I recommend you make sure that those images don't have a copyright on them so you don't get into trouble. I'll probably update this post if I find an image with a better quality online.

This one is even more gorgeous! But... the price and delivery costs are not attractive. Plus, I want to make this myself.

this is the one I even came across while searching for higher quality. And it's actually pretty good still and think making it yourself will just  be the right thing to do.

Whoa the price is quite huge I would say. Anyways Your choice is nice too but I seem to like the first one more. If you could be very resourceful in creating that frame I would say you go for it. I would love to see your finished job. Cheers

Wait till you see the price of the actual newspaper!  It wouldn't surprise me if it isn't a scam site (even though I hold my doubts). The Times newspaper is probably the rarest Bitcoin collectible, probably rarer than cacascius coins.

i think this https://talkimg.com/images/2024/01/15/3fefd.png is already enough and the news headline looks very recent. it says " Israel prepares to send tanks and troops into Gaza" dang! looks very coincidental. i also wanted to print this image. maybe it's going to spark conversation when people see the poster right in front of our store. just a question: is Bitcoin mentioned in the article and who paid for the publication?

The quality of the image is good, at least some one can clearly read out the text written in small ink. Most of the "The Times newspaper" pictures I see online are usually blurry, and you will hardly be able to read anything. I could show you how bad it is if you want. If you think of making the frame yourself with the image, I think it will still look as good as the one that's sold on Etsy.com

The only idea I have on the matter is to try to use one of the free AI web tools on the internet and increase + enhance one of the freely available images like https://twitter.com/Cyvers_/status/1742467553618747579 https://twitter.com/evymodeling/status/1370973067304898561/photo/1 or the one from @electronicash' post

Lol, the one posted by electronicash is exactly same image posted by BlackHatCoiner. Although, I think I get the Sarcasm.

use reverse image search like tinEye and organise match list by "sort by biggest image" or go to the Times newspaper archive (subscription needed)

The post from Coingecko on X looks to have good resolution. I used Google and customized with their search tool, try to find images with biggest size.

These are all photos of 3GM version. Does anyone have photos of the 1GM version?

If you look at the bottom left, or sometimes at the top next to the number, you will see a small text indicating the newspaper version. I see 3GM in this photo: this one from the scarce.city auction is a 3GM too:

There is a website dedicated to this iconic newspaper, information, sales, available copies etc. They have a gallery page > https://www.thetimes03jan2009.com/gallery/ Not sure what the quality is like of the images but maybe you could purchase a copy of one of the images in original high resolution format? There has also been a few on SCARCE as well, they might have high resolution images? https://scarce.city/auctions/satoshi-times Check out the Collectibles board here, they have come up for sale occasionally, high resolutions images might be available from previous sellers?
