1) Can anyone suggest a light wallet for Monero? - must be non-custodial - should avoid full sync (similar to electrum for BTC) - no private keys sent to any server 2) Also, how long does it usually take to sync these Monero wallets? (Monero.com Wallet, Feather, Monerujo, Stack Wallet) P.S: Got an answer to question #2.

That depends on the "Restore Height" or "Wallet Creation Date" that you'll set during restore. So if you have an old transaction that in need to be set to a very old block height, it may take a few hours to sync. Otherwise, like if it's a new wallet, it should be a few minutes fast.

It's more than that. The type of device you are using for the wallet, maybe PC spec makes a contribution too. The last time I installed monero wallet it takes forever to complete the sync and I changed device, moved to a more powerful PC and it sync faster than my old laptop. Even the mobile version called Monerujo takes time, you have to leave the phone for a while to fully sync, if you run other apps on the phone while the sync is going on it will slow down the syncing process.

Is there a lightweight client for monero? Like electrum for bitcoin? That does not send private keys to the server like Edge or MyMonero

Those in your list are the lightest client that you can get if you do not want to send the Private View Key (can't be used to spend) to the server. For example: "Feather" IMO is the Electrum of Monero. It does but it's complicated to give an ETA to OP since he didn't specified his machine/device's specs. The major contribution to the light client's sync speed is still the staring height anyways. Even a powerful PC can take hours to sync if it has to start from 10+ years ago.

Haven't you tried it yet since you posted the OP (almost 4 months ago)? And your edit added a note that it's answered already. If you missed it, my very first reply is applicable for lightweight clients like Feather wallet. (more blocks to scan, more time it'll take) The comparison to Electrum is due to it being one the fastest you can have for Monero without sacrificing your private view key to a third-party, but the sync speed isn't close to Electrum. Monero and Bitcoin work differently.

I thought that since then after the improvements of Monero by dev team the sync speed has somehow changed towards acceleration ok, I got the final answer closed
