I ordered a T21 directly from bitmain and they shipped it with DHL. Now the item is held up in customs. The address is mine, and the phone number is also correct. But the paperwork from DHL has someone else's name on it: Christopher xxxxxxx. That’s not my name; it’s Philip xxxxx. DHL says bitmain messed up and gave them the wrong name, while bitmain insists they provided my name. Every document from bitmain shows my name, but all DHL's paperwork has the incorrect name, even though they emailed me using my name. So now my package is stuck in customs. To make things worse, I have two more T21s on order, so I could potentially lose three of them. Has anyone else run into a name issue like this with bitmain and DHL?

Of course, it's a stupid question, but just in case. Are you sure you communicated with the official Bitman shop? Can you check the originality of the papers that Bitman shows you, whether they may have been edited only for "your eyes"? Some online tools will recognize if an image has been edited, I would check it out.

Probably a mix-up with another customer's name in the sorting center right before DHL picked up the parcels? It's never happened to me but since they are humans too, at times they can make errors. In this case, Bitmain and DHL are supposed to coordinate and help you out send the right paper work so you can clear with customs. That's the only way out.

90 percent sure this is it. I got a hold of Jesus from DHL and he was totality transparent. Did not know his name yet. we talked 15 minutes I think it will get fixed on the dhl end. When we finished talking he asked me did I have any questions I asked his name he said Jesus I said good I need your help. I got a followup email from him. I will submit my waybill from bitmain matches perfectly. Btw my email is pxxxxxxxxo@yahoo.com my actual name been using it for 25 years. It finally came in handy. I told dhl the email is my name and I have used it with your company buying from bitmain for 9 years. I used to be annoyed that I used my real name as my email it finally came in handy.

Bitmain would tell you the miner is yours the moment DHL picks it up from them, DHL would tell you, we can't do shit unless instructed by the shipper because it was shipped from their account, I had a similar issue happening to me, not the wrong name, but it was the wrong destination, it arrived to some far away country and stopped there, I contacted my local DHL and they said this is what the Air waybill and shipping details point to, despite them acknowledging that the shipment is actually mine. It took me days of back-and-forth emails with Bitmain, they literally told me there was nothing they could do, I kept getting different responses from different Bitmain employees until one of them ( her name was Jessica) she helped me settle the matter, they contacted DHL and she sent me a new tracking number. Phill, you need to keep bothering shity Bitmain until they send the correct documents to DHL, I did search my email inbox to find Jessica's email but all emails I received from Bitmain were from support@bitmainhelp.zendesk.com but labeled differently, Jessica, Olivia and etc.

I will wait to see the call dhl gives me The info came to my email Philip lastname @ yahoo.com with the wrong name Christopher xxxxx correct address correct phone. the invoice from bitmain is perfectly correct all info including social security number. the order documents are perfectly correct. Jesus from DHL told me he thinks it is an error on dhl’s part they are supposed to contact me in the morning. I will follow up with them and this thread by late tomorrow.

That is really frustrating knowing that it made you a hassle like that. That's a possible clerical error or something. I hope it resolves ASAP, I think with all the things that you have presented, it shouldn't be a problem to get it sorted out. Thank "Jesus" right?

I did feel better hearing that name. Error may be resolved. It looks like the error has been in place since 2016. Name correct address correct phone  correct error was my SSN which was transposed say 123-54-6789 should have been 123-45-6789 this made someone else's name come up as the wrong SSN was active and belonged to Christopher xxxxx. I went back and the error has been there since 2016 invoices. now it is fixed.

Does this mean that they just exposed someone else's SSN to you inadvertently...  I would think there are some sort of penalties involved with that for the agency responsible but what do I know.  I'm glad there's a happy ending in there for you, but old Christopher probably wouldn't be too happy to learn what happened...

yeah I now know Christopher's SSN his last name of course and the year the SSN was issued. 1995 You can legally enter a SSN on a lookup for free. The reveal you get is if it is valid and the Year it was issued. https://www.ssn-check.org/verify So xxx - 54 - xxxx             would be Christopher's Number. xxx - 45 - xxxx               would be mine. obviously the ones above are dummied up. Lucky for Christopher x I am honest and he has a common last name. So even though I know his social there are 63 people in the usa with his name. I also do not know if he is an immigrant and that the issue date of 1995 is the year he was born. So I got the package yesterday and I still need to work on the next one as DHL has all good info now but bitmain still has the old transposed number. Say Chris Smith or Chris Brown. Or Chris {common last name}

This is something when inputting the waybill details on the DHL office used by bitmain, it's also bitmain's fault for not double checking the details inputted by a DHL officer. This scenario only happens when manually inputting them, instead of automatically generated waybills from bitmain shop system connected to DHL's parcel acceptance system. I hope it will be fixed because aside from the stress of waiting the parcel to arive to your country/location thinking if it will arrive safely, now you need to wait another couple of days until it got resolve by the two parties for them to deliver to your doors.

I have schedule c sole owner tax return you use your social security number. this is due to trump tax on imports. no one used to bother much with imports. then trump made really high tax..  I import as a sole proprietor using my ssn.  it is stupid as fuck. but I have reached the point knowing I am fully doxxed for more than a decade. name ssn birthdate address are all on the net. cant scrub them. saving grace is no one has my name it is one of a kind so it helps somewhat to prevent fraud. My doxxing likely occured due to the bitmain hack of emails shortly after ssn was required.

Two things in my favor my name is one of a kind. No one in the world has it but me. And I made my email my name on yahoo back in 1998. That actually helps security after the dox happened
