So Puzzle 66 has been out there for over two years, and no one's been able to crack its privkey yet. But you gotta think, mining a block is way easier compared to that. Like, why isn't anyone using their hashing power to mine BTC puzzles instead? Take this for instance: a block hash looks like this 00000000000000000000 53795dbe26e2befb0c081e50826c88997900207d4c90 And then you have puzzle 66 which is 00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 3a838b13505b26867 That means it's 27 times easier to mine a block! Can anyone explain more about this difficulty comparison between mining a block and puzzle 66? >1HELPME8PG2FVhGgLJjvXnRNqpfC5ossxU this address is dreaming of getting 1 whole BTC<

If you refer to brute forcing address with known range of private key, then it's impossible task. ASIC for mining Bitcoin only can perform SHA-256 while brute-forcing address perform ECDSA operation which convert private key to public key.
