I just opened a backup of my Core wallet from 2020 and got a notification about migrating in version 27.1.0. Do I need to take care of this soon? It mentioned something about legacy wallets, but all the addresses in my backup are bc1q, which are native segwit addresses. Should I be worried about anything or is this gonna be a simple process? Appreciate the help!

I don't know what will be the result but I would suggest before you import it to the latest one make sure to make copy if your wallet.dat first(The original wallet.dat file should be your backup) Then use the copy backup to import to the latest version of Bitcoin core for safety purposes and I'm sure migrating won't affect anything in your wallet.

I think it shouldn't be a problem make sure to also make a new backup wallet from the latest version just make sure you have these two backup just incase in the future you experience some issues you need the old and new backup for recovery.

Yes if you want to use future versions of Bitcoin Core starting v29.0. You can follow this issue in bitcoin core's GitHub repository to see when it'll get implemented: https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/issues/20160 You mean newly created wallet by v27.1.0? Yes, that will be compatible with the next versions since it's already a descriptor wallet in SQLite database.
