so, today Bitmain dropped the new s23 mining rigs at the world digital mining summit (wdms) for 2025. as usual, they rolled out three versions of the s23: hydro, immersion, and air cooling. now for the interesting part this time they’ve actually managed to bring the efficiency down to single digits for power consumption! the top model, the Antminer S23 Hydro, boasts 9.5 j/t with 580t performance consuming 5510w, which is super impressive. here’s the rundown for the other two versions: air cooled: 318t 3498w 11 j/t immersion: 368t 4048w 11 j/t and as always with Bitmain, these new s23 models are set to hit the market in the first quarter of 2026!
