Just dropped a new air-cooled ASIC miner: the Proto Rig. It boasts some pretty cool specs and design features that could be appealing for both home users and larger mining setups. Here are the main points: Hashrate: 819 Th/s Efficiency: 14.65 J/Th Air-cooled setup Hot-swappable fans, PSU, and hashboards (modular design) This thing looks like it’s all about high performance and easy maintenance. The hot-swappable parts might make it way quicker and less of a hassle to keep running compared to the usual fixed designs. What’s your take on the idea of hot-swappable components in air-cooled miners? 3 ASICs were put in 1 box. 1 ASIC broke and 3 ASICs are going to the service center, and this is a loss from downtime. If I take out 1 board, will this ASIC work without it?
