Hey folks! I'm gearing up to jump into crypto trading and trying to figure out which platform to start with. Considering Binance, OKX, Coinbase, Kraken, and I just found out about TradeUp though I haven't seen much info on it. I’d really appreciate some honest feedback to see what's good for beginners. Binance is super popular and has a ton of features, but I’ve heard it might be a bit too much for new users. OKX and Coinbase seem more straightforward, but I’m kinda clueless about their fees. Kraken is known to be reliable, but I haven’t tried it myself. TradeUp.net caught my attention because of some interesting loyalty perks, but I can’t find many reviews about it. Anyone here have experience, especially with TradeUp or any similar platforms?

I havent even heard of that TradeUp(.)net platform, I dont think it is even listed on CMC or any reputable crypto exchange aggregators. So if your question is legit and you are not just trying to shill for some obscure site, I wold recommend you avoid anything in the crypto space you cant find some clear, widespread, trusted review.  Loyalty programs on unknown platforms are a huge red flag, mostly, they exist to lure unsuspecting new users into what is easily a scam.

The is my first time hearing of TradeUp platform which happens not be amongst the most reputable exchanges tht are well known and trusted by people with good reviews. Other crypto exchange platforms you’ve mentioned are good ones you can have good reviews from users here because they’ve mostly used them and can also find reviews about them online. Just because a platform is given loyalty programs doesn’t just make it reputable, it might be their own way of luring users into using their platforms which their authenticity and not out for scam attempt can’t be proven yet. It is better you stay away from such platforms for your own good as a newbie user.

I've never heard of TradeUp, where did you find it? someone PM'd you or something? My advise is to err on the side of caution. Go with reputable platforms as obscure platforms are high risk—so much scams have happened with obscure exchanges, you don't wanna risk it. Even if they end up to be legitimate, know that these platforms are constantly targeted by bad actors, and reputed platforms are more likely to survive a hack rather than obscure exchange.

I never heard that exchange and upon having a quick research, it was created since 2010 based on who.is. So, meaning to say, it has been a long time since the exchange existed, but why has it never gained popularity on the internet, unlike the reputable exchanges you mentioned above?  Binance, OKS, Coinbase, Kraken. Be cautious about which exchange you use, as it could put your money at risk. It's good that you asked this community first to get the right advice you need, and hopefully, you aren't here to promote that unknown exchange that might be a scam website.

In all the good number of years I have been trading, I never had of tradeup until today. What is funny is that they claim that the platform has been 10+ years on the market. Older than the likes of Binance, Bitmex  I suggest that you stick to popular and reputable exchanges. You can easily look up the trading fees under the FAQ sections or even by just a simple search on the browser, and then you make comparisons. Fees vary from platform to platform, account tier levels and staking benefits.

I do trade on both Binance and OKX. About fees, there's no difference except for maker fees; OKX is a bit lower compared to Binance. About the tools for trading, I don't see much difference; they're both using TradingView. About TradeUp, it seems like a scam site. I saw another tradeup on Google, but it is not .net but it's a .com extension. Any of these I don't still trust those sites.

I have never known of TradeUp exchange and I think it is not a famous and big one, so it's dangerous to use them especially if they are a centralized exchange. You can find and get basic information of exchanges (CEX or DEX) with some websites. https://www.cryptowisser.com/exchanges/https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/https://www.coingecko.com/en/exchangeshttps://cryptorank.io/exchanges If you want best, most friendly, I recommend Binance but like all centralized exchanges, you should not store your fund on them. Reminder: do not keep your money in online accounts. You can check information on fees like Taker, maker, withdrawal fees with cryptowisser.com (link above) and the following site. https://withdrawalfees.com/

Hey mate, avoid the trading platform that you are unfamiliar with every of the comments I have read here have said the same thing. Don't be fooled by the loyalty programs and stuff. You already mentioned that they don't have any reviews yet, you don't want to be the first person to drop a review. Also, stay with the most popular ones.

No, I've never heard of it. But anyway, the way you mention the platform above sounds like someone trying to introduce it to everyone. I've seen several users do the same thing - it's worth calling it shilling? I'm not sure what your real motive is, including the loyalty program you mentioned on the platform. Some people have been searching for the platform since you mentioned it in your post - is this part of a promotion or something else?

This post seems to be an advertisement, the purpose of which is to promote an unknown exchange that is not even among the TOP-250 exchanges represented on Coinmarketcap. https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/ It is not normal to put such well-known exchanges as Binance, OKX, Coinbase, Kraken and the Tradeup exchange on a par. How did you know about her existence?

Exactly what I thought - that seems to be the motive. Some other newbies try to promote unknown casinos, some others promote token, now I see others promoting trading platform. They could be volunteer users or paid like other shillers - but who knows, it's just a guess. My initial guess is exactly the same as yours - but I'd like the OP to answer it.

Speaking frankly all of those exchange you mentioned have loyalty program. From launchpools, alpha, presales, etc. So the feature you mentioned isn't something special and those event from big exchange doesn't only happen once in a while, it happens every time there is new listing. I would recommend to just use the one that's reputable. We are talking about money in a 3rd party custody here, you don't want things like ftx to play out again because if you're dealing with 3rd rate exchange you're more likely to lose your money instead of getting reimbursement like ftx. It's always better to use tier 1 exchange.

I've never heard of TradeUp, and I hope your question isn't actually about promoting it. Because TradeUp has so few reviews, don't risk trading there, even if the program seems appealing to you, as you could be the victim of a scam attempt. If you are really looking for an exchange the names you mentioned besides TradeUp are sufficient for traders who really want to trade.

Nobody needs reviews for these sites, we all know about them. What I always want is a site that lets you filter by certain things and automatically updates you about fees, commissions, pairs, whether they allow your country, KYC info, every thing. Like example, I can enter > country, local currency, payment method and the site results show me as of today which exchange accepts all this and how much will I get. I know there are bots and plugins that can do this now. Just that would be SO useful.

On the contrary, this is how the OP is silently promoting this site that we haven't heard before. Have you noticed that all the trading platforms that he mentions is well known to us this suddenly at the end he inserted this crypto exchange? That's already a red flag. So it's a way of catching the community, but nevertheless, those like you who have been in this forum for so many years already knows what the OP is doing. Specially a newbie like him, I forget though we have a lot of this cases that someone put a thread about it but it's been buried already. But I still remember that thread that's why this kind of schilling should be taken with a grain of salt.

Hey everyone, thanks so much for all the useful info and replies — really didn’t expect so many! Honestly, I wasn’t aware of CoinMarketCap before, so I’ll definitely start checking there. I haven’t deposited any real money yet, just exploring for now. Also, I didn’t realize there’s a difference between tradeup.net and tradeup.com — that’s an important detail, and I’ll be way more careful with that going forward. I came across tradeup.net through a detailed review by a trader friend. The other exchanges I mentioned I’ve known about for a while, mostly from other reviews too. Appreciate everyone helping out a newbie here!

I am not really popular with TradeUp.net exchange market and recently have used Binance, OKX and Coinbase but my priority exchange for trading is Binance. You can trade or using OKX as exchange for trading because have many altcoins listing there if you not use Binance as most popular exchange have billion user until right now. My recommended you can trade cryptocurrency assets with Binance, OKX, Kraken exchange because have many option altcoin for trading, if you interested with Coinbase you can't trade many kinds of altcoin but that exchange very trusted and friendly for users. One important thing during all exchange have support P2P right now, you must find exchange have many community for P2P transaction in your country, I used Binance because easily for selling stable assets by P2P if not use local exchange to withdraw cryptocurrency assets to Bank. Just remember, all your recommended exchange must verifying document ID for available trading, withdrawing and depositing fund.

Do you have a trader friend? You can ask them for help with trading, at least some basic analysis techniques. It will help if you're close enough with your friend. Regarding trading exchanges, if your country has a legal exchange platform, you can try it first with fiat after learning a few things. If not, to avoid the risk of losing money after depositing, choose an exchange with the best reviews. After browsing several, try to find the one that's most convenient for you. I use Binance.

Honestly this may sounds like a shilling in a subtle manner. Of all the cex you mentioned are all famous and popular in the web3 except for one. Its like you wanna make us think so curious on the outlier you mentioned. The last one sounds like an unknown platform without much tractions on the market. Are you part of the marketing team or just want to shill this badly with the community? Considering your account little few post this might be a shill post.
