So Google claims their quantum computer will be able to crack the bitcoin Blockchain in just 9 minutes. They’re saying this might happen by 2029! What can we do to safeguard our wallets before that time hits? Are decentralized platforms like Trust Wallet, Exodus, or Coinbase planning to roll out quantum-resistant wallets to help us dodge these potential risks?

For God's sake folks!  This makes THREE threads started on this topic in the past week.... Please try scanning through existing topics before posting your 'revelations' so you can:  A. Learn more about it  B. Perhaps add to the discussion without others having to constantly repeat known facts to bring new posts up to speed Most active one is https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5579141.msg66575228#msg66575228 Other current ones: Be careful what you choose to believe about QuantumQuantum threat ignored by Bitcoin developersBitcoin Under Quantum Threat? New Google Data Warns About 2029 Deadline Oh and is NOT what they said... Their research mentioned the POSSIBILITY of attacking 1 block ( more specifically tx's in it) still in mempool in under 9min, not the chain.

There is no reason to worry, Because Bitcoin is updatable. Along with the quantum and technology update in 2029, Bitcoin technology will also be updated, and this has been happening since 2010! So I think there is no reason to worry, Because there are thousands of technologists involved in Bitcoin! And they are aware of this and the Bitcoin code paper is open!

The major concern is for inactive/ lost wallets which will not or cannot be updated by anyone. If those can be accessed it will cause a supply pump and negatively the rest of the network. - Jay -

In addition, Bitcoin does not use encryption cryptography but rather signature and hash cryptography. I think you actually meant non-custodial wallet, not decentralized sites. Anyway, the solution is moving your Bitcoin to wallet that generate QC-resistant address.

OP, learn to use the search 🔍 engine on your top right screen, because most times some questions you want to ask have been answered too many times already. For example I have read three quantum computers thread since the past weeks now, you can still find those threads and submit your questions since they are still open. Kindly lock this topic because there is no point to keep this open, I created one quantum thread myself, it's on @NotFuzzyWarm list, pls kindly consider closing this thread, thank you.

How about you stop reading it? Or stay of controlling it while burning crypto on a casino? Send them 5 ada and they think they have a scapegoat. Since all quantum trails leads to crime on here. It's like: "Ohh you want more cake than me. Here you go". You pay since money ain't an issue. Big beatyfull server bills. You know chickens pecks on it's own race. Delete it again. Tricky first timer.. I zip whine here. For the time being. Since I was told stalking and threats is not ok I try to stay of it. Time for a song? We got Donald Trump making frontpage by being more crazy than me. Cheers! Old traced bastard. What do i tell you about quantum next? That i get it? You have to believe in BTC or your not gonna make it.

Many topics have been created on this subject before, if you study those topics well then you will understand, and what Satoshi sir made some comments on this subject. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=202.msg2133#msg2133 There is still a lot of time and we are still hearing from some places that have not been created yet, so we have no reason to worry about it at the moment. Yes I completely agree with this. If such a disaster occurs in the future then the developers will take some new measures as per the example shown by Satoshi sir. You need to focus more on how to invest instead of worrying about these issues at the moment
