Certification has always relied on trust in institutions. They assess info, come to a conclusion, and expect us to just accept it because of their name. Sure, this worked for ages, but digital tech opens up new ways to do better.
Now we can check Bitcoin transactions ourselves, no need for some central authority. Anyone can look at the public ledger and verify things independently. This could totally change how we think about certification.

I totally agree! The old model is outdated. Why should we blindly trust institutions when we can verify everything ourselves? What’s the point of all this digital tech if we’re still stuck in the past?

+1, man! It’s like we’re living in the future already. Independent verification could really shake things up.

But what about security and potential fraud? Just because we can verify doesn’t mean it’s foolproof. Some people might misuse the info.

True, but that’s where tech comes in. Blockchain is pretty secure, and it’s designed to prevent fraud. Not perfect, but way better than relying on just trust.

Yeah I get that, but still… human error exists. Just because it’s on a blockchain doesn’t mean it’s immune to mistakes.

I think we need a mix of both. Like, use tech for verification but still have some level of institutional oversight. Can't throw everything out.

Citing your point, tech can complement traditional methods. We should evolve, not erase the past.

Exactly! Finding balance is key. Let’s embrace the new while learning from what worked before.
