Hey, I'm trying to look into a possible scam for a friend. So there's this site: webtrader.springhill.top/ I’ve searched around on Google but couldn’t find anything about it. Appreciate any insights!

If no info comes up for it (as in no good nor bad reviews), it means that barely anyone has ever used the site and you should just stay away from it. I never understood why people go with unknown trading platforms, when you have dozens, if not hundreds of other legitimate ones? both DEXes and CEXes.

I have a friend in the UK that called me one day about something like this. Although, the account was funded and he was requested to deposit an amount of money to be able to withdraw the whole coins. I told him it was a scam. The reason that I have noticed about it is high yield return or something related to profit.

You've done google search and still got no details, isn't that enough sign for a red flag about the high possibility of it being a scam?   If @Charles-Tim is correct about the registration time  of the site (which I don't doubt) then my friend dig no further about it and tell your friend to make use of the services of any  old existing sites with sound reputation. This is ridiculous, how would anyone go on to deposit funds into an account he didn't create himself or has no possession of  login details but just that he's told he could withdraw some attractive funds already in the account. Like is this greed or ignorance?

My advice do not use the new Crypto trading platform that is operating, as you know again the information is very minimal, whether they are illegal or legal. But try to see here: Is Springhill Group safe?, I see a site called Springhill-Group detected by fraud engaged in investment, I see that there are many who are fooled, I do not check in detail whether they have something to do with webtrader.springhill.top. My advice is careful today there are so many trading sites, investments that lead to fraud, so if the lack of experience and information is better to avoid.

Most likely it is a scam, because there is no information available on google and even they are too lazy to buy a generic toplevel domain. This kind of scam technique is often on the internet. Tell your friend to avoid this kind of trading platform and it is better for him to find another platform that is more credible and trustworthy, there are many on the internet, you can search for it.

if there's no info it is a scam, pretty obvious, legit exchange want as much exposure as they can get, but scam site won't do that because it will require them to spend money. just stick with the one listed in CMC and top ranked if you trade crypto. also, no legit exchange would use .top domain .
