This thread is all about sharing personal takes on Bitcoin using haikus, which is a classic Japanese style of poetry.
Please stick to haiku format when you post, otherwise, your message might get removed. Appreciate your cooperation!
Here’s a proper haiku example (5-7-5 syllable pattern):
Bitcoin: friend or foe?
The money of the machines
Wen Terminator?
And here’s an example of what not to do (wrong syllable count and lines):
We want them green arrows
We want that cash money
Rolls-Royce and Lambos
My Bitcoin stole your honey.
Feel free to post multiple haikus and add some context if you want. You can also reply to others using a haiku!

Here, I'll go first to cut the ice.
Its not just money;
Its a tool for those seeking
real independence.
Self custody coin
Digitally capped asset
Decentralised coin
You did not follow
Instructions were very clear
Read and understand

Here's my Haiku.
In love with Bitcoin.
The state can't track this asset.
Future currency.
Legacy of coins
Is not how much you possess,
But how you spend them.
It's been quite sometime I did an Haiku and I believe this should be in respect to the Sunday haiku tradition.
Silent, Sovereign
Numbers carved in time and trust
Freedom without kings
A public ledger
Pseudonyms not hidden truth
Care guards who you are.

Too much syllables,
Should be five, seven and five,
For each of the lines.
Real, borderless coin,
Connects us all together,
Through the fixed blockchain
Uh-uh, not at all
It matters how much you have
Price keeps going up
Bitcoin, escape pod,
Think bitcoin, think open source,
My plan A, not B.
Bitcoin to the Moon
And when it boom no one glooms
For all, it's a boon
This is very entertaining ..
But for fiat fans
It is time to take Plan B
B as in Bitcoin
The Bitcoin Forum
Most will not read the OP
Many are Robots
The people's money...
No bank, no real restrictions...
Borderles and smoothe
Just learned about the Haiku today and tried to put this up. It's funny reading some comments; many do not really understand what Haiku is
B is like haikus
Some people get it, some don't
No time to explain
Either you get it
Or you don't. I don't have time
to convince you, guy.
Thanks for pointing this.
Correction is now taken.
I love poetry.
Bitcoin used codes to.
Solve inflation for u.
That fiat couldn't.
Divorcing fiat.
Marrying Bitcoin so fast.
My freedom in sight.
This is fun 😁
It's a 3 part journey:
Bought because of hype
Did not read the white paper
Sold at the bottom
Came back to buy more
All the coins lost at trading
People who hold win
Read the white paper
Maybe still too expensive?
Turns out it was not
(Not sure if hodl should be to 1 or 2 syllables, but as i didn't hodl, i'll probably got it wrong this time as well)
My digital chest
Nobody opens it
Nobody knows it
ok this is fun, i'll stick around
Incorrect response. In your first line you have 5 syllables which is correct. You're supposed to give 7 syllables in the second line but your phrase has another 5 syllables and the last line has just 4 syllables instead of 5. You can adjust it to make it a proper haiku. Something like this below..
My digital chest............5 syllables
Nobody else opens it...7 syllables
Nobody knows it..........5 syllables
I hope this helps. I learnt it for the first time yesterday too.
Hope for the unbanked
Coded with wealth for all
With worth as gold
Just trying my best here...
Bitcoin my power.
Bitcoin is freewill power.
The power I have.
Hope I did well. I love this. I'll try come up with another.
