I was watching a YouTube video that suggested solo mining at ausolo.ckpool.org.
However, I saw on the CKpool site that they advise against using my Bitaxe Gamma 601 for solo mining there.
So, with that in mind, where should I direct my miner if I want to solo mine?
Thanks! I’m just starting out with Bitcoin mining.

Solo mining help needed regarding pools

You can use noderunners.network
Or publicpool
https://web.public-pool.io/#/
If you are not satisfied you can visit the link below to see the other available pools but I have connect BitAxe to Noderunner and publicpool, even ViaBTC successfully.
https://miningpoolstats.stream/bitcoin
Hope it helps.
Also I hope you understand what you are doing? I don't want to be a bringer of bad news but solo mining isn't a guarantee way to earn Bitcoin, it is very similar to gambling, because you can keep doing this for years without solving a block, I wish you the best of good luck.
Thanks I appreciate the reply. Yes I'm aware but the profits for using it to just mine as PPS are too low for me I'd like to take the risk solo mining.
I can't open that link, but https://solo.ckpool.org/ say different thing.
They say they don't want you use their service with Nerdminers that only have 78 KH/s. Meanwhile your BitAxe Gamma 601 supposed to have around 1.2 TH/s which is also above 100 GH/s.

You can configure your device to this pool.

Solo pools have two modes. ckpool pays the reward only to the one miner who finds the correct hash. However, there are other pools that also call themselves solo pools, but they split the reward among all miners, regardless of who found the correct hash. For example, this project, although it also mines on ckpool https://blockparty.rigly.io/
Thank you for sharing I most likely will use this pool. I appreciate it alot.

CKPool isnt ideal for very small miners like Bitaxe. A better option is Public Pool, which is built for small miners and still lets you solo mine (you keep the full reward if you find a block). Running your own node is another option, but more advanced.
Please delete this as it is in error.
Mining a bitaxe at ckpool is fine.

Bullshit.
Anything over a few hundred GHS are fine on cksolo pool or any other pool.
Public Pool is mainly for CPU/GPU mining (at best a few hundred MHS) and using the V1 or V2 toy Nerdminers which only give 75KHS and 350KHS respectively.
He might be joking or just blindly reading this directly from CKpool:
@PocketAurora Bitaxe is running 1.2TH/s or 2.2TH/s at max it's 1,200GH/s and 2,200GH/s it's more than 10x, which is capable enough to mine at CKpool solo unless you mine with any units that hash below 100GH/s.
