Hey everyone, Not sure if I'm in the right place, so feel free to direct me if needed. I’ve got an S17e that says it found a BTC block on the miner’s status page, but I haven’t seen any transaction show up in my wallet. This happened a couple of days ago, and my wallet address doesn’t reflect anything from that block on the blockchain explorer. Can someone break this down for me? I'm kinda new to the solo mining scene. Thanks a lot, Øyvind Kordal

Without additional detail, i only can assume other miner/pool broadcast their block faster than yours which makes your block become stale.

Um, since you mine at -ck's solo pool you should ask in his pool thread here Hopefully it was from losing an orphan race and is not another case of his pool losing another block... Since its start the pool has lost 6 blocks (all documented in the thread) due to various issues... One does have to ask, if you mine on his pool, how could you be unaware of its thread here on the Forum?... How did you find his pool?

@ NotFuzzyWarm, I'm new to solomining, and I just made a google-search for a btc solomining pool. Didn't check out this forum or ck solo pool thread before after I saw my miner stated foundblocks. The miner appear strange, now for example it says that it found 15 blocks... So I guess the miner itself is no good, or I've been misunderstanding the FoundBlocks field under Miner Status - Summary. Do you have a suggestion for another solo mining pool that is good? Best regards, Øyvind Kordal

What is the value displayed in you 'Miner Status' tab under "BestShare"? If it's not something higher than the result of Bitcoin Core's getdifficulty command (currently 83126997340024.61), then it didn't actually mined a block. May be a buggy firmware or something. In any case, just refer to the pool's user status page to see if it's mining: You can also compare the status that your miner is reporting to the ones displayed there.

Some thoughts. 1) Does your hashrate at the pool look correct? 2) What do you have for your failover pool? Is something causing it to go to the secondary pool that may not be BTC but a lower difficulty ALT? 3) Is this the stock firmware or some hacked / modded one? 4) Did you check for a virus: https://support.bitmain.com/hc/en-us/articles/900004391106-Treatment-Method-for-ANTMINER-Anti-virus -Dave
