Got a new challenge for the New Year!
I'm jumping back into the trading scene with a cool project using the Quanta exoTrader strategy and Gunbot.
For those who’ve seen my earlier experiments here, you know I love sharing these journeys with you.
A bit about the strategy: Quanta exoTrader is all about high-probability trades and works really well on various time frames. It uses data science to handle market ups and downs effectively. The advanced analytics are designed to predict market trends, turning tricky data into chances to profit.
Current Setup:
- Start Date: January 10, 2025
- Start Capital: $1000
- Current Balance: $1300
- Days running: 0
- Profit: 0
- Trading Pair: FDUSD-BTC, USDT-DOGE
Need Your Input!
Before I kick this off, I need your advice! Help me pick these parameters by January 10:
- Trading Pair: Which asset or currency pair should I go for? Ideally something with a lot of volume, maybe one of the top 10 on CoinMarketCap? Just one pair, paired with USD will work. For example, FDUSD-BTC.
- Time Frame: How about 5 minutes? More trades but more short-term. Or 30 minutes? Fewer trades but more reliable signals for a longer-term strategy.
- Experiment Duration: Should this last 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or a whole year?
I'll be using Binance, so tons of pairs to choose from. Once I gather suggestions, I’ll go with the one that gets the most votes. Just a heads-up, like any trading method, Quanta exoTrader has its risks.

May 11, 2025 - Change in trading pair
Nobody has tried to start yet, so let me do the first one. The selection would be like this.
Trading Pair: FDUSD-BTC
Time Frame: 15 mins
How long should the experiment last? 6 months
So I chose BTC because it's the best coin, and "Bitcoin"talk. We all should be trading Bitcoin. It is the top coin and it has great volatility.
15 mins because it's a balance of long-term and short-term in a way.
6 months because a more extended timeframe is more reliable and not just a short-term 1 month to evaluate the actual strategy.
I have backtested this, and it shows a good result with this. The following parameters that I have are seen on the screen. I changed to 30 minutes for a more extended timeframe, so better quality of trade.
You can check on the right side. The possible net profit is 361.65, which is 36.17%. Hopefully, you can get this after a few months.
No one seems interested in giving their opinion, but that's okay. It's just the start. I will start trading now.
Hoping for a great run! Let's Go!!!!
It has been a while, and 4 months have passed, and now I have profited around ~400USD. I decided to withdraw 100 USD, start with $1300, and change pairs. I am trying to see a different pair for this one to see if it will affect my daily profit, etc.
Withdrew $100 USDFrom USD-BTC -> USD-DOGE
Okay, let's discuss with me, although I don't have so much experience about trade, but I think sharing the existing knowledge is much better than nothing, I see your development from January it is so rapid in your trade, but you collect a 40% profit from your initial capital that is extraordinary success in my opinion in a few months, if you use bigger capital, the benefits you get will also be very large.
I am interested in how you do risk management and how many nominal number in one trade?
this is majority because of the pump that have recently happened and having a automatic the dollar cost average type of strategy has helped accumulate more bitcoin when it was low and selling it with the recent high.
With a strategy i have currently it is being handled by the custom strategy that i have which is called the Quanta StarSignal and the trading limit that i have is $20 per trade now.
This is the current setup with my pair. The trend protection was turned on and prevented me from having more bags for this. This is quite convenient with the current situation for DOGE.
These are my recent and overall statistics for the trades that have occurred on the Dashboard.
Number of Trades: 317
Total Year P&L: 36.15
I'm not sure when it can recover, but it would take time, and it's currently stalled. I will update when there are significant changes.
