Hey guys, I'm currently doing my Master's research on how economists and finance experts view the practicality of a Bitcoin Standard as a genuine monetary system. No hype, no ideology just a straightforward look at the trade-offs involved. The survey takes about 10-15 minutes, it's totally anonymous, and it dives into your real opinions on: If a fixed money supply actually holds more credibility than central banks. The risks of deflation and what that could mean for the economy. If a Bitcoin Standard could withstand financial crises. Whether the advantages outweigh the potential downsides. This data is super valuable for my thesis, where I’ll be tackling both the theoretical benefits (like rule-based credibility) and the significant issues (deflation, financial stability). If you’ve considered this topic beyond Twitter arguments and want to help out with some academic research on crypto's role as money, I would really appreciate your input. → Survey link: https://www.soscisurvey.de/MA544116/ It'll just take 10 minutes and is completely anonymous. Thanks a lot for your time. I really appreciate it!

Fixed money supply like Bitcoin has a potential value over the traditional finance because the limited supply of 21M BTC has an hedge against inflations over a long term while the fiats are devalued due to the central bank printing more money on the annual basis and unlimitedly. The fiats can only keep a valuable standard at deflation while in those moments Bitcoin proves it dynamic form of asset that is just more than money for payment of goods and services like the fiats. While during inflation the fiats values are depreciated over economy purchasing power, Bitcoin has the potential to hold its value.
