Hey everyone,
I’ve got a T17e that’s got a faulty hashboard, and it’s only detecting 48 ASICs. I’ve swapped in a brand new APW9+ power supply, installed new fans, and replaced the data cables, but no change. Sadly, I can’t find any replacement hashboards online.
So I have a few questions:
- Are there any repair services in the US that could check out the board?
- If I can’t find someone to repair it, I’m considering fixing it myself and have already ordered 4 BM1396 chips. Once they arrive, I plan to remove the heatsinks and check the signals. Is there anything else I should buy?
- Does anyone know what temp sensor these boards use? One of the functional boards has a faulty sensor. The kernel log mentions NCT218, but I’m not sure what to get until I take it apart.
Just so you know, I’ve also updated the SD card with the stock firmware to the latest version, and I tried HiveOS, but still no luck.
Thanks a lot,
Ed
