Hope I’m posting this in the right spot.
So, I’ve got this titan bitcoin, which was supposed to be the 2FA version, but I couldn’t redeem it on the site. That’s a known issue with them, and then the whole site just vanished. Up until a few years ago, I could check the balance on a wallet explorer site, and it always showed as 1.00 BTC, even though I was unable to do anything with it. But today when I checked, it said "not found". What’s going on? If someone, or even that guy who sold me the coin, stole the BTC, wouldn’t the wallet still show up, just empty? It should have a transaction history too, right?
Last year, I talked to Mr. Filmore for a bit, and he said the mt. gox mess was why the titan mint site shut down. Haven’t heard from him since then.
Appreciate any insights.

Are you checking a Bitcoin address? If so, try a different block explorer. For instance mempool.space.
Yes. But I wouldn't use "wallet explorer" for this.
I think this issue fits better on the Collectibles board. I don't know Titan, but it sounds like a custom implementation of 2FA. That's a terrible design for long-term hodling. Have you read Titan Mint Coins- Serious Issue- Titan Mint Bitcoin Coins ***NEW UPDATES***?
Thank you for the information. The titan thread will
Make good reading.
Ill use the collectible board in the future.
