We all appreciate bitcoin, but today is special because it's the anniversary of when BTC officially got its iconic logo from Satoshi. Can’t believe it’s been 16 years already, but I still feel a rush of excitement whenever I come across one of his old messages.
Today is a landmark day for BTC

Thanks for your reminder on this amazing day in Bitcoin history but I would like to share an article about Bitcoin logo history too.
The Complete History of the Bitcoin Logo.
More Bitcoin logos, buttons, and also some other graphics.
The History and Symbolism Behind Bitcoins Logo.
Turns out the Bitcoin logo has a tiny design flaw.
You knew about the forum well, and possibly knew about Bitcoin well too, I don't think I need to explain anything to you.
You can better continue pushing up.

I remember when forum updates like this were the biggest news. The Bitcoin logo has passed the test of time better than any fiat currency. History has been written before our eyes for 16 years straight

Hard to believe its been 16 years since 2010, when Satoshi dropped the updated Bitcoin logo - replacing the old BC with the now-familiar ₿. He put it out there as public domain, no copyright attached, and it naturally became the go-to symbol for Bitcoin.
The designs evolved here and there over time, but the one that still pops up the most is that classic gold coin look with the double vertical strokes. But hey, thats decentralization for you - nobodys in charge of the one true logo. People just run with whatever version they like.
Great articles about Bitcoin history.
Will add something about what I read about this topic and here it is https://logos-world.net/bitcoin-logo/
Time flies so fast and we have seen so many changes not only with the logo, but also with those many great developments of Bitcoin and it continue to became well known asset in the world.
From zero in value and less people pay attention with this coin to been recognized as one of the greatest asset in exist nowadays.
Everything about bitcoin are pointing to a landmark achievement which we can always point at and remember for good, because going by how it started and where it is today, there have been a lot of transformation and many achievement with bitcoin and we appreciate on every moments being together with bitcoin, because this era speaks about all we need from achieving full decentralization.

Today, bitcoin has truly shown its strength, it feels like a celebration, and Im glad to be part of it. I hope and believe that it will continue to impress us with new milestones and further growth. And this post with the updated bitcoin logo will be a pleasant reminder for us of how it all started and how far it has come.
Dang! I swear I was just thinking about the same year yesterday, but in a different context (I lost someone very special to me) and I had flashbacks of memories, but the most intriguing part was how far the years have gone by already; and that 2010 to 2026 equals 16 solid years.
He/They revolutionized the monetary system and broke the monopoly; detaching us from slavery and currency devaluation under the same people that swore their lives to protect our interest. He did it all!!

Am definitely glad I have the opportunity to mark this anniversary for Bitcoin, because besides Pizza day and other competitions that are hosted here to celebrate Bitcoin, none beats the anniversary for the design of the Logo of the world's renowned and top performing crypto currency, of which is Bitcoin.
This logo is a shout out into the future and a trace back from history books on how Bitcoin came to be and it's journey so far.
Thats not the point. Your first post on the forum is on a push-up thread where users are quick to give merits, that tells me that youre not a genuine newbie and have another account on the forum.
Wow, Thank you OP for sharing this historical date. I didn't notice before that the bitcoin logo had been first invented by Satoshi himself. Never thought that the logo of bitcoin.org website is the official bitcoin logo as well. This leads me to think about Satoshi having graphic design skills parallel with coding skills or he asked someone to work on conception.
Then welcome back to bitcointalk my friend. I guess you created this account today to celebrate the event with bitcointalk community. Which account you used since 16 years? I think everybody here will give a warm welcome.
I have been on the forum for more than a decade but I never pay attention on when Satoshi have finalized the design for Bitcoin. This is the first time I have known that Bitcoin logo had been finalized on the 24th day of February.
Thanks @op in reminding us an important milestone of Bitcoin and post by the creator himself, Satoshi Nakamoto about how he finalized the logo of BTC.
Am happy am made aware of this milestone achievement for bitcoin, because it has not been long i came onboard and even though I am still finding my way around, I am happy to have Stumbled upon this and would tick this as a first for me.
I look forward to other celebrations and milestone achievement that may be celebrated or not for Bit[Suspicious link removed]d one OP.
Thanks for the reminder, OP. I also feel a distinct emotion whenever I'm reading an old thread or discussion in which Satoshi took part. I mean, that's no less than the one who created Bitcoin. He/she/they once was/were human/s.
Anyway, those were the days when there wasn't yet a more or less agreed Bitcoin logo, but this one wasn't final either. Satoshi simply submitted it for the community to comment on. Eventually, it was bitboy's that became the de facto logo.

Did you try to put some link in your message?
It was yesterday, though
Time flies too fast, it has been 16 years since the very iconic logo with a rich history was posted on this forum after Satoshi successfully designed it perfectly. The logo has become a symbol of the decentralization and financial freedom movement and still evokes emotion and excitement among the Bitcoin community. To be honest, every time I see that logo, I and probably most of the Bitcoin community are always reminded of Satoshi vision to create a better and fairer financial system. Everything about Bitcoin and the achievements it has achieved so far has influenced people's perception of Bitcoin as a whole, so it's no wonder that people who were once very opposed to Bitcoin have now become Bitcoin supporters with huge amounts of investment.
