Hey everyone! Anyone got tips on where to snag some used Antminers? I've hit up places like this forum, eBay, Amazon, Alibaba, AliExpress, TradeMe (the local platform here), and a few Asian sites too. But man, it's either all scammers or the prices are just insane. Any other suggestions I might be missing out on?

I have found a few actually on Alibaba.  The prices are driven up by the coin prices so its variable pricing.  As BTC falls, BTC miners fall.  The other is true as well.  The secondary market is a bit dicey given that most of the time they are selling rigs straight from the mining farms.  I know of 2 in Alibaba that I bought used rigs from that I seriously trust because they delivered working rigs and communicated well and didn't gouge me on price. What type of miners are you looking for? Tsub

That's awesome! Thanks for taking your time to reply. I'm mainly looking into scrypt miners, so L3+ or the newer scrypt Innosilicon ones. I've heard a lot of negative things about buying miners on AliBaba, do you mind sharing the links to the ones you found? Maybe I should wait a bit for the miners to be a bit cheaper, I've also been considering just waiting for the AntMiner L7 to come out and purchasing 2 of those directly off BitMain Enzo

You might get some valuable information from this thread  - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5336244.0 as some members have used some of the services before especially the first three replies. Let me quote some of them for you.

The one I liked the most is this one: Ningbo Zanboo International Trading Co., Ltd. https://zanboo.en.alibaba.com/ They newer but Tracy will probably be your contact.  She steered me away from some used miners that don't travel well and had good prices.  I bought both new S19J 100Th's and A10 Pro+ (and a used HS5 which runs like a champ).  Another option is: Shenzhen Changcheng Technology Co., Ltd https://cnszcc.en.alibaba.com If you want used, straight from the mining farm, reach out to Susanna who has access to alot of used rigs.  They cheaper, but know the life on them probably won't be very long.  If they break in shipping, that is on you as older rigs don't have warranty. I always use Trade Assurance for a little bit of protection / recourse. Let me know how it goes! Tsub

Reminder that buying any miners on alibaba, if they send you faulty miners, rip you off, or do you over like seems to regularly happen buying miners there, you will have no recourse. It's your complete loss. Best to stay completely away from buying miners there. "Trade Assurance" does nothing for you.

Yeah Pretty unfortunate. Do you happen to know any places where I can get new or used miners from? All manufactures seem to be out of stock, and I can't find any reliable place to buy them. Enzo

I guess it should be expected since the silicon market is having supply issues right now. Do you really need it right now though? Why not wait for a while? You can also try to do P2P trade here. At least you can use trusted escrow in this forum as another layer of protection.

If you are in the USA, blokforge.com for both new miners and used ones coming in from the dismantled Chinese farms.

True, but I have bought 22 ASIC miners from them in the last 2 months and have not had any problems.  So maybe I am just lucky on this right now. With BTC down, rig prices are much lower than they were. T

Unfortunately I don't live in the USA, I live in New Zealand, but these are the type of sites I was after! If anyone has any other ones as well I would really appreciate it! EDIT: I just had a better look at the fine print on the site, they do ship outside of the USA and it's apparently cheaper to do it that way as there are no tariffs! Awesome!

I got scammed on Facebook Marketplace about a month ago trying to buy a couple L3+ miners, still can't believe I was stupid enough to fall for it  I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy of Facebook Marketplace, in all honesty as far as I can tell now, the best place is from the manufacturers themselves.
