Any suggestions for free or affordable trading simulators? I wanna practice a bit before getting into actual trades. Which platform works best for that?

First thing first delete your similar thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5537379.0
Just put all that you wanted to ask here
All the resources you need to learn crypto trading you can read from this link below, including all the trading simulators. And much better, make an account in TradingView to use their paper money; you can use it for free and test what you learn from technical analysis from the link below.

If you want to carry trading simulations on crypto. Almost all exchange now have the demo mode. You just have to pick which one you are more interested in
1. Binance
2. Bybit
3. OKX
4. Phemex
5. Bingx
All you have to do is sign up and maybe carry out KYC. All are free, and you will be provided with demo funds (demo USDT or demo BTC)
Please correct your link

Personally, I find TradingView to be a great platform for practice. It provides accurate data, and so far, I havent encountered any bugs or issues that could disrupt the experience. They also offer affordable plans for those interested in accessing some of their premium features. Just to be clear, Im not advertising the platform, this is based purely on my own experience. And yes, its completely free if you dont want to spend any money. Its really up to you.

literally most of demo trading account in big popular exchanges are the best way to go.
why? because the data is pulled from real price and not just made up data, so you can actually feel how the market is doing except you're just using fake money to trade around.
just find with the keyword binance demo account, etc. most of them allow you to set up demo account just to get the feel of trading. be sure not to click on scam links though.

If you want to learn trading, I can recommend you to use Binance exchange platform as the best exchange platform. You can also trade using Kucoin, Gate.io, Coinbase exchange. But since you are just starting out, I would like to tell you to trade with a very small amount of money that you will not regret even if you lose it.
All of the platforms that are for free or low cost were suggested to you already.
Binance is going to be the main choice of most and then you are free to choose what you want.
If you are going to trade, just make sure that you have enough money for minimal losses.
OP, many have shared the best platforms above. I don't know which platform you chose? For me I use Binance. You can use Binance it is very popular, you can create account here and start trading. Now trading is risky, so you need to learn well and start trading. Try to stay away from trading in newly listed coins. In my opinion it is better to start trading with Bitcoin as a newbie.
For me since other members have aired out their opinions and recommendations to you which is one way or the other fine by me, but I'll go by recommending you try out binance exchange it's kind of cool for newbies that want to go into trading which you can also startup with a demo account or start with a minimum amount you can afford to lose when losses arise. But beside that you need to get full knowledge about what you intend going into so you can understand everything concerning it and do well in it as well.
I love real-time data on anything that I will be practicing because obviously it allows us to experience the real thing with of course without the fear of losing our own money. About the keyword, is that also find inside the trading platform such as Binance? That's cool because we can just click on them when we see them when we scroll but yeah, it is risky if it is seen else where. For our safety, we must visit the official site first and we need to check if it was properly spelled. Even without keyword or tags, they must have their own category that we can as well see. There must also be a search box where we can input what we are looking for.

After practice on demo, there are still lessons you will learn when you enter the real market. This is why some people prefer not to waste time on demo but would rather use money they can risk on the real market so that they learn all the lessons at once.
I am not advising you to enter the live market once, but I am just saying something that you should be aware of, @OP.
Demo trading is seen to be one of the unrealistic scene because it doesn't make any sense. Why trade with account that we wouldn't be serious or feel the pressure of the market because the funds used for trading is not real and we can be able to fund the demo account any time we feel like. I'll not slash my time to demo account, instead let me deal with the live trading where I get to see my capital, my profits and losses. Yes, the market comes with its own full alternatives and toiling our motives. Trading is not easy and we do our best to ensure we're sealing every move to adapt to the system.
Yes, one of the easiest to use is Bybit

Everyone has their own position in this matter, everyone should know what is done in business and what has to be done. Those who know even a little about it know the meaning of business, which we should not go into this discussion with. But now that the discussion has started, let us see that there is both profit and loss in business. If you do any work, you will definitely get loss a hundred times in life because it is the principle of life that there is loss and profit in business. Therefore, this is also a kind of business in which everyone gets profit and loss.If we understand business, we should think about maximizing profit from it and also remember that we are not making a loss from this work.

Demo trading is not pointless, though. It's good for new traders who are still trying to learn how to place orders, execute take profits and losses etc. It's also good for testing out some strategies before one can go into real live trading.
So I 100% recommend it to newbies, after which they can start using small amounts to test the waters.
OP, depending on the trading skills. If you have knowledge about trading, you can feel free to any platform. I always do spot trade, even though it is low in profit. But if you expert on analyss, you can do well in the Future. However Crypto Allows Risky.
Especially if you are focused on the Future and are new to the Crypto Sector, then signal will be needed because without signal you will not be able to survive for long. However, it is best to do anything by acquiring your own knowledge.

Almost all exchanges have this feature. But if you really want to learn trading. I'll suggest you do it in real time not simulators. Practice, backtest but trade a live account. That way you learn how to handle the pressure quickly.

Or you can go to the site directly: https://www.quantzu.com
