A report titled "Individuals holding cryptoassets: uptake and understanding" just came out. This was put together by HMRC and Kantar UK to dig into the crypto market in the UK. It was released on July 5, 2022, but the research happened between February and June 2021.
There’s some pretty fascinating info in there, and even though I haven’t gone through all of it yet, I definitely plan to.
What really catches my eye is that they commissioned this report, which hints that upcoming HMRC rules and tax laws might come from these findings.
Check it out and let me know your thoughts.
