The head of USI Tech, a company involved in crypto mining and digital asset trading, has been hit with charges from federal prosecutors in New York. They accuse Horst Jicha, a 64-year-old from Germany, of swindling investors out of around $150 million through a shady multilevel marketing scam.
Jicha is facing a bunch of serious charges, including securities fraud, money laundering, and wire fraud. Reports say he promised investors returns as high as 140%, then he pulled the plug on the USI platform and moved a lot of Bitcoin and Ether to his own accounts. He got arrested on December 23 while trying to enjoy a vacation in Miami, according to the authorities.
I am not interested in clicking the link and still, I am certain he came up with a cloud-mining company. This news is a trade mark example as to how cloud mining companies work.
He is the bigger fish or he may not be looking at his age, but one thing I am sure of is that he trusted some young guys who are responsible for his problem. Grandpa will not rot in a cell till he dies and goes somewhere. It is quite bad as I feel he was the name and identity for those who committed the crime, as I cannot expect my elders to handle their smart phone properly.
I think the website is safe and you can spend a few minutes of your time. This company operated in the USA and Europe, and was not known in Russia, so I cannot write detailed comments, but the company had many more investment products than the one you wrote about. Any prison sentence of 10 years or more could be a life sentence for him, but that doesn't make me sad.
American legislation does not like discrimination by gender and age; everyone is equal before the law.
