Hey, just realized I'm kinda late to the transfer game. Totally forgot I even opened a wallet a while back. Had the BRD wallet, but as you guys probably know, it’s no longer functioning. I’ve been digging through some posts and it seems like the plan is to switch to Electrum. I’ve got the HPS address, but can someone break down the steps to import it or explain how to tweak it after linking so I can see my balance? Right now it’s linked but just shows as a view, and like thousands of others, it’s showing a zero balance despite a bunch of transactions. Am I just out of luck here? I honestly don’t remember getting any seed words when I set it up, and while I took pics during the setup, that’s not one of the things I captured. Probably my mistake. If anyone can help, I’d really appreciate it.

What's an HPS address? If that's an altcoin that was supported by BRD wallet, then you cannot use Electrum to recover that. You must use MetaMask or a wallet that support that token (I can see it in coinmarketcap, just not sure if that's the one you're referring to?). If you do not have a seedphrase though, you cannot recover your wallet elsewhere.

FWIW only having or knowing a cryptocurrency address alone isn't enough to recover access to your coin or token. But did you make any backup? Looking at their archived support page, you could use either recovery phrase (12 randomly generated words)[1] or iCloud Backup[2] to attempt regain access to your coin or token. Long key? By any chance, is it similar with master private key or xprv? It appears that you are referring to a happiness token with a hps address, but I believe it is an ERC20 address beginning with "0x". If that is the only backup you have, you will be unable to restore your brd wallet to Electrum, as this token is not supported by Electrum. If you have the seed phrase then you can import it to Electrum it's a 12 words phrase do you have it?

@ABCbits  its my private key.  starts with 1 though. Although my iphone is backed up, i don't know how to get to the info considering the app is disabled.  Will see if that is an option I don't have the words so I will consider it a loss.  I was trying to see if coinbase, setting up there, would give any options.  Going through some verification with them. I appreciate all the help and replies.

You need your seed phrase to import your wallet into coinbase wallet or any other wallet. If you still have your BRD wallet on your device, you should be able to export your seed phrase. Otherwise, there's nothing you can do and your fund is lost.

Starts with 1? It sounds like Bitcoin address, see https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/List_of_address_prefixes.

Take note that it's "Coinbase Wallet" and not "Coinbase", The former is their self-custodial wallet, the latter is their exchange which wont accept recovery phrase from BRD wallet. BRD wallet app's last update has the necessary functions and instructions on how to move your funds to 'Coinbase Wallet' app. Try if you can restore your previous BRD wallet data and app from the backup, then update the app. If successful, use their native "Migrate Wallet" menu that can export your seed.
