Hey everyone, I’ve got a brand new Antminer S1 that I picked up for my collection about 5 years back. Just curious if anyone has a clue what it might be worth now. There aren’t any available for sale, so it’s tough to dig up any info.

you need to find a collector as it is pretty much worthless for mining.
Does it look new?
I found one for 200 that looks old

Yes, mine is new, no signs of wear. I don't plan on selling it right now. It's just to get an idea. Yes, I know it's not at all profitable for mining, it's more for collecting.

You could list it on ebay at a stupid high price say $10,000 or best offer.
See what kind of offers you get.

Yeah, I guess he might but is $10k not a huge amount though? Except the person collecting it is just going to be excited by the novelty of owning an Antminer S1.

Yeah but best offer means you can bid anything you want.
Set 300 minimum
And 8000 accept
Any offer from 301 to 7999
You can say yes to it.
Or do nothing and let it expire.
8000 and up you have to sell it
Under 300 Instant rejection
Title it
rare antminer s1 in new condition place and offer for a piece of history.

I get what you mean because it's how you package a product that determines how much value can be attached to it.
8k being the maximum is a good enough deal to start the bid at because if they want to counter, they can give a price that could fit into the price range they want.
I'd advise you to sell it off as quickly as possible because this sort of things may drop in value and even if it's meant to be a collectible, you'd hardly find buyers.
Usually, for collecting, they take devices with a limited copy, and this ASIC was produced in large quantities. Wait 10 years, maybe you will sell it for several thousand dollars. But forget about mining.
