Hey everyone, I've been around for 6 years now. I just tried logging into my account and I'm curious if there are still any campaigns to earn new tokens here. Appreciate any info, thanks!

Want to earn tokens on forums? I think you mean bounty campaigns? It's not worth it anymore. Many tokens have no value, and I'm not sure I'll get any.
You can participate in airdrop programs scattered around, especially on X, where many projects will give away tokens for completing certain tasks. Just be active on X and you'll find information about them.
Welcome back to the forum. To be honest, there are not that much bounties anymore and that's why if you're hoping to earn some of them, you're mostly going to waste your time if you see some of them in the bounties section and try to join them. Maybe some exchanges allows the learn feature and from doing the tasks there will give you some tokens as rewards but I haven't checked most of them if that feature is still existing.
Go to the altcoin sections, and you can check the bounties section there to check what campaigns are giving you a chance to earn tokens, but I would like to remind you, it's more like gambling because after working for months you are still not sure if they are going to reward you and worse if the token you've worked to promote will even have value, in short its totally a waste of time.

It's 2026, with more advanced AI access. You can deploy your own token with the help of that tool. I don't think its value is any different from the tokens being given away for free/light tasks every day.
Seriously, people are now more realistic about valuing new tokens; without a solid benefit, they'll remain worthless. Forget tokens, earn bitcoin.
As other outlined it's not worth anymore. Most tokens distribution are done through on-chain and based on some contribution metrics such as staking your money in a smart contract, etc.
The method was never static as well, projects always change how they distribute their tokens and some are so shady. But feel free to check out the bounties section.

If you had asked that question in 2017, when you first joined the forum, we likely would have been able to provide a positive answer. However, currently, concentrating on earning tokens from the forum is a futile endeavor. I am curious; you created this account in 2017 but are asking questions almost 9 years later.
However, you can still earn tokens, but the value would be near zero. There are many campaigns and airdrops as well from which you may earn by following their tasks. Most companies don't pay tokens; even those that do pay don't have much value. I can't see any lucky projects lately on the forum, though I am not active on the bounty section. So better to look for some other earning sources.
The one common option you could do is to go on altcoin bounty section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0 to know on which bounty campaigns you can possibly join. But earning from those campaigns is unsure because there are lots of scams out there.
You can also go on X and find some airdrops, also same with bounty campaign earning earning is not guaranteed because as what has been said many scammers now joining on that scene and they try to pretend to be a good project but later on they end up scamming not only their participants but also their investors.
So much has changed in those six years; the landscape is very different now than it was six years ago. There's hardly a bounty campaign that you can find here in Bitcointalk. What I can think of now is the airdrop campaign.
If you're interested in free tokens, the best place is airdrops.io. There are a lot of opportunities to acquire tokens here, but don't expect too much. Do your research and practice diligence.

Chasing bounties on exchanges is more logical, yes. Or there are some web3 platforms, like Galaxy, I think, I don't remember exactly, you could check those out too. Bounties on the forum aren't what they used to be, if you've only returned to the forum for bounties you'll probably be wasting your time, but you never know, sometimes there are good bounties. Welcome back to the forum.
At least there might be some better chances on the exchanges when the projects that are about to get listed on them have that direct distribution. In the forum, we know that bounties are not the same anymore and they're terrible this time. If there will be a hundred of them comes out, almost none of them becomes real and successful as all of it becomes a failure.
If you check Bounties (Altcoins) section, you might come across a few of them. You can join various campaigns there to earn new tokens, but if you want to hear my honest advice, I wouldn't recommend participating, it simply isn't worth the time you'd invest in it. BTW, there are better platforms out there for getting tokens after completing several tasks, like Galxe. Try looking into it & giving it a shot, mate.
I think you are not updated on the current situation of the bounties; they have been gone for many years, and no active token campaign is running now. Bounty campaigns have been replaced by airdrop campaigns. You can Google for airdrop platforms. Free tokens are used to rule in this forum. I remember just sending my wallet address to the developer, and in a few days, I had my free tokens. It's better to just invest in tokens or altcoins with good standing in the market than getting free tokens, the majority of free tokens now takes month to have value.

There are still hopes left, but you might end up earning useless tokens rather than actually earning real ones, which could be worth something later during 2017. When I believe airdrops were still rewarding, if you were active, you could have earned and accumulated decent tokens. You can still give the bounty section a try or just bring out money and buy tokens you want instead of hoping to make it free.
This is also what I notice when I go to the altcoins or tokens bounty of our forum. Most that I can see there now, were just contest or airdrops that are also not guarantee. Maybe it also has to do with the enthusiasm of the people, like they also got tired of shits and scams, so project owners have also tired trying running a bounty when there is just no people that will participate at it.
Can't remember if I heard or tried this before, but the ones I mostly use is airdropalert. There is also airdrops in CMC before but when I visit them last time, they postponed it. I think it is also due to the plenty number of scams and their reputation can get affected by it. IMO, it is better to just buy a token. Many aren't expensive though. That is the ones that is guaranteed, in terms of acquiring them but there is still no guarantees if those cheap and new tokens we have, are going to get successful someday.
Bounty section is available for you, but I will tell you that we have passed the era of bounty campaigns, periods when you will be able to earn decent amount of money from bounty campaigns, but right now if you want to participate in bounty campaigns, you just wasting your time because even if you are paid, the coin might not have value. Anyone expecting free momey from bounty campaigns now is just wasting time.
If you want to earn bitcoin, then you will have to rank up your account before you will be able to join signature campaign, and they not even giving you the bitcoin for free, you are going to work for it.

If you have sometimes to waste testing new projects and earnings airdrops rewards from them you should head straight to the bounty section of the forum and try your hand out on a few of them, who knows you may get lucky to recieve rewards from them that can be worth it in the long run, or you buy if you have some money to gamble around with.
It through bounty campaign is the way that you can earn tokens in this forum, but I will never advise you to go ahead and join bounty because you will just suffer for nothing. Even though some tasks from some projects may reward you with tokens, the point is that those tokens may never worth anything. Some of the tokens you are rewarded with may never even launch, so it is better to avoid bounty because we are no longer in the era of bounty. In fact, with the way altcoins are performing in this cycle, I think that anyone who tries to join bounty is simply wasting their time. In fact, even airdrops, which we thought were in season, seem to be producing nothing again. People are complaining about the amount of stress they go through, yet airdrops have not paid them even 5% of what their efforts were worth recently.
Where have you been for the past 6 years? Because you clearly havent been paying attention.
If you are looking for free handouts or easy "campaigns" to earn tokens, you are entirely out of luck. Most of those old-school token campaigns were replaced by highly competitive airdrop farming. The entire ecosystem moved on years ago and the free lunch is over.
If you're talking about bounty campaigns, there are still some who are launching bounty campaigns here, but the success rate is very low already, and you MIGHT still get tokens, but those don't have any value at all. In short, it's not worth it anymore especially for a low-ranked account like you.
I will not ask you why you didn't spend the past 6 years here in the forum because it's probably personal, but if you're here for bounty campaigns or in your case, new tokens, I think it's better to just leave. Kind of harsh, but all of that will change if you're here for legit conversation and interaction with other users here. If you want to share your opinion here, stay but if not, better...
