We've seen a lot of monthly and yearly price predictions for Bitcoin, but how about starting a thread for weekly speculations here? I'm thinking we could kick off new threads every week, like on Monday mornings, based on the forum's time. Each thread would focus solely on guessing the forum's price for that week. Maybe we could even set up a poll for it that closes after two days. Not sure if the forum would be cool with such a short poll since I've never done one like this before, but I doubt it would get rejected.

If you create a topic for this discussion purpose, it will be moved to Speculation board by forum moderators. Knowing this means you need to post your thread in Speculation board by yourself. Please don't create new topics for it as it is like spam and get post quota in campaigns that only count posts in first five pages of any thread. I hope that you don't have any intention to create topics for post quota only as it happens popularly in Gambling board. Many new threads created without any discussion value and I guess that they only serves first-five-page posts for counting purposes.

I am in for this, but what I know is the mods will immediately move such threads to the speculation board. The threads that fit this board are more like trading journals. You could do this weekly, maybe slap in a bit of charts showing your technical analysis, entry, and exit points. Something like that.

The more you lower the time frame from annual and monthly to weekly and daily, it becomes extremely hard and the accuracy diminishes. Since it is speculation, then we are allowed to be wrong because in trading, there is always room for being wrong. I don't know how you want this information to be presented or we are to post what we think the opening and closing prices of bitcoin will be in the week and our reason for choosing that range? I want to know so I give my prediction.

Are you talking about to have a specific board for bitcoin price speculations or you mean that thread that speculates bitcoin price in the week charts has not been discussed here before or what? I am very much sure that even daily price predictions had been discussed here severally. Of course most of us are day-to-days traders which live events are basically brought here. There are also those betting on the speculations that the entire 21 million bitcoins will be mined in 21,40. They may afford to hold for generational inheritance.

Don't you think the WO has cover up most the topic and thread about the price bitcoin weekly speculation? If there is anything else here then I will say that weekly is too that close, it would be that better we make it a monthly speculation than weekly. At least with months it will be a bit more better in terms of thinking what the possibility of next month results could comes out, with this it may of course attracts more people than just making it weekly.

Let say we have steady weekly bitcoin speculation thread for one month which means 4 weeks in a roll, with active comments and analysis of the market within the 4 weeks space. Don't you think, that will kill the purpose and need for the monthly bitcoin price speculations that we have always hard, is just like giving up one for another,  why don't we just keep the monthly thread active all through the week's of the month, atleast like what we have always hard.

Well this is very relate to my current situation in looking at the market, but weekly is better than daily or hourly in my opinion, for those who swing trade may look very dizzy and accuracy is decreased, but weekly is not bad, and you don't forget that scalping traders are even shorter to increase their accuracy, at least the normal count in hour or 30 minutes, for them it's heaven to earn money, for me is suicide quickly.

If this won't be flooded by spam, then weekly is good, but I think the thread would just be deleted by mods, just like what I usually see from some who created similar threads before, because we already have a wall observer that talks about the price of BTC. However, if you have a better explanation and insights, they might let your thread live. I think instead of staying on a single thread, why not make a new thread with the date instead, which is specific only to that week, and then close the thread and create a new thread for the next week's speculation with the date?

Then this should belong in Speculation sub right? Anyway, I like the idea, but only if self moderated to cut out all the shit. This forum is getting worse with AI chat everywhere, people not responding instead just posting AI slop, wall quote offenders, etc Please try to keep the forum in higher quality, that's all. I think more self moderated threads especially in Trading. This way we can identify possible actual proven traders and cut out spammers.

Weekly speculation is cool, as there's nothing wrong in regularly speculating the price of Bitcoin to know the imminent changes faster than the monthly/yearly approach. I start immediately: As it is now, this week has been spent more than halfway, even as it has proven to be a rollercoaster one till date. The good thing is that Bitcoin continues to hold very well above some technical supports, which suggests some bullish movements until the end of this week. I believe above $89,000 is good enough to maintain the weekly bullish view.

While the market almost in the weekend, that affect the price getting lower as usual. It will be good if we can see speculation for weekly to see how the progress of Bitcoin moves. I guess starting weekly speculation is okay to gives how people see Bitcoin moves this week and analyze what could happens in the next week. If they gets the images of the market, that helps them to analyze so they know what need to do. I voted for Yes. I want to see what people say and speculate for current and next week. That can gives more information to us.

Yes, this can be the focus of the weekly Bitcoin price discussion, because we can get a lot of help for trading from here and we can get help for Bitcoin DCA method holding from here. The more Bitcoin price discussion, the better for us because we can also get this advice from very experienced people. Therefore, I think it is reasonable to discuss Bitcoin price weekly, although it is the end of the first week of the new year, but again we can prepare for the second week, and Bitcoin price is temporarily correcting a little. The current Bitcoin price is touching $ 90.6k.

The speculation board is more for holders and people that are not trading. But I want to create this to know if we traders can benefit from it. This will be more for swing traders. Opening and closing price will be more difficult but what we will be speculating on iis the highest and lowest price of bitcoin in each week. I am not talking about having specific board for the speculation, everything will be on this trading discussion. Speculation board does not need a child board. It will be in a way that trading discussion will be better. Or you mean we already have speculation board where it can belong? I think this short term speculation will be mainly for traders.

Weekly views are fine as long as they don’t turn into overconfidence. Holding above key support matters more than intraday noise, and price respecting those levels is usually a healthy sign. If $89k stays defended, I’d stay cautiously bullish but still ready for surprises, because Bitcoin loves to test patience. Especially the retail holders like us.

I usually look for daily and weekly Bitcoin speculation on social media and some AI-generated information within the requested timeframe. However, if the OP plans to post it here as a discussion topic, I agree and would be interested in hearing the various speculations. Short-term accuracy and precision are bound to change quickly, so I'll focus on the weekly speculation presented.

I don't really get it. All speculation thread works better in Speculation sub... but yes, I like the idea. Just... remember to keep it moderated. I think weekly can be a bit repetitive in certain periods for BTC, so a 4week + monthly summary to discuss what went correct/not so correct could be helpful for a lot of returning 'customers' The quality in this trading sub is quite bad, so anything to try improve it in general is welcome.

Even for last few days, the sentiment has been already bearish, although yeah that the weekend can it even worsen it. There are still charts that can show us how the Bitcoin moves. In fact it is live, so it can't only give us a weekly overview but even from time to time. So a weekly speculation on this board can be optional only. In a charting platform, they also allow comments to talk about the situation there. They are straight to the point, not like to this forum that other topics are found too on this board, so we can get lost here sometimes. We can analyse and say what we think can happen in the latter stages but there is no guarantees for it that it will occur. So one must lower their expectation and not depend on others for this, if they are not confident with their own ability.

If we are talking about weekly price discussion of bitcoin then admin or mod wouldn't mind forward it to speculation board as anything price discussion are mostly posted at the speculation section other than here so, It wouldn't make sense if that is posted here, but for trading trading discussion then I believe it would be leave here without them moving it, or maybe you can try to enhance your topic to look inform of trading discussion but deep down is more or less of speculation about bitcoin price.
