Bitcoin has millions of users, yet AI is used constantly across billions of daily interactions. Think about it, businesses rely on AI for a ton of stuff emails, work tools, social media. Major companies are all in on it. As for energy, Bitcoin mining has shifted to renewable sources, with over 52% now clean energy. But AI is still heavily reliant on traditional city grids. It's wild how environmental activists go after Bitcoin but seem quiet about AI.

I'm all for Bitcoin, but let’s be real. AI has the potential to transform everything around us. With widespread use in our lives, investing in AI makes sense. Bitcoin feels like an older tech in comparison.

There's this huge push for AI being essential! But come on, is it worth the environmental cost? AI is everywhere now, and I can’t help but wonder what’s so amazing about it. I mean, we got deep fakes, AI writing, and summarizing our chats? Really?

You just need to use AI more! It's such a big deal for productivity. Offices are optimizing everything with AI, and it’s in science and creative fields too. Just look at all the things AI can help with.

You nailed it. Your last point really got me thinking even appliances are AI-powered now. This growth in AI feels like it’s escalating into an arms race, and whoever controls AI, controls the future.

I feel like the criticism toward Bitcoin’s energy use is more about disliking it rather than real concern. It’s like a smear campaign because Bitcoin challenges the financial status quo. If Bitcoin posed no threat, would they still care?

And don’t forget about streaming! With all those videos and live sports in HD and 4K, the energy used is likely through the roof compared to Bitcoin consumption. It’s pretty hypocritical to just focus on Bitcoin.

Totally agree, it seems like there's a double standard. Blaming Bitcoin for energy use while ignoring other sectors feels really biased. Why not point the finger at energy-guzzling industries instead?

Politics are everywhere in this energy debate. Greenpeace and others had their anti-Bitcoin agenda, and now it’s oddly quiet around AI. If there’s future political backlash against AI, watch for the same tactics.

I think a lot of the energy fears around Bitcoin are exaggerated. Sure, critics got louder as Bitcoin gained popularity, but AI is consuming tons of energy too. Just look at the massive data centers.

They say Bitcoin is a bubble, a Ponzi scheme, a criminal coin... but AI gets a free pass? Ridiculous! They don’t compare Bitcoin's energy usage to other high-consumption sectors.

Yeah, all tech uses energy, but moving to renewables can help. Sure, it’s a big investment upfront, but it pays off over time. Less environmental impact in the long run.

AI is taking over marketing! Look at YouTube ads now, most are AI-generated. Why hire a star when you can get quick, cost-efficient AI videos? It’s crazy how things have changed.

Honestly, this all boils down to financial interests. Many who criticize Bitcoin don’t care about energy use; they just want their investments to shine. It's all about money.

Companies, not governments, are building AI data centers. It’s nice to see less focus on Bitcoin for energy waste since AI centers are consuming way more energy.

Bitcoin does a few things well like being a store of value and a payment method. AI, on the other hand, can solve a multitude of problems. Those ignoring AI might get left behind.

Different countries have different policies. Sure, Bitcoin mining happens everywhere, but it won’t be outlawed everywhere. As solar energy becomes more accessible, miners could adopt it more.

That makes sense. Governments are often self-serving, weighing their political gains. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re just keeping quiet about AI to protect their own interests.

I don't think it’s fair to compare. AI data centers are taxed and controlled by governments while Bitcoin is decentralized and harder to regulate. It’s really about who has control.

Those anti-Bitcoin movements? They’re really just political ventures masking as environmentalism. I checked, and Greenpeace seems to have fallen off with their anti-Bitcoin campaigns.
