Finally, the wait for World Liberty Financial ($WLFI) is over. Since it dropped in 2024, WLFI has opened up discussions on how DeFi can integrate with traditional finance through stablecoins, easy-to-use tools, and reducing our dependence on banks. Now, they're making some noise with their first listings. What really caught my eye is that Bingx is offering free WLFI, which might be a cool chance to get in early. For those keeping tabs on WLFI, this feels like more than just your usual token launch. With the Trump family linked to its foundation and a bold roadmap ahead, this listing could either back up all the buzz or put it to the test. Do you think WLFI could actually make a mark in DeFi, or is it just another project making headlines?

I have read most aspect of the project and I don't think they're doing anything new or novel that doesn't already exist under the current defi scope. Even their lending and borrowing product will be provided by Aave and stablecoins have been a thing for close to a decade so what gives? I believe World liberty finance is only all the range because Trump family are directly involved in the project as co-founders and thus, have vested interest to see it succeed. That's why I'm not surprised about the hype that has surrounded the project in the last couple of months.

Definitely, trump's influence is the thing that causes the hype. The presale was a massive success and I bet in the future the defi will have big amount of TVL as well. That's how much influential he is that even the project that gets invested by WLFI also getting the hype such as falcon finance. The project only good 10m investment from WLFI and already getting 1.2 billion dollar TVL, compare this to other project with similar amount of funding and most of them only getting 200m max or 80m in average. That's hype going on right there.
