I've been losing my mind for the last couple of days, seriously, I feel like I just hit the jackpot. It honestly feels like I'm in a dream and I can't wrap my head around it.
No one knows about this yet, not my bros, my girlfriend, or even my parents. I’ve kept this to myself and it’s kinda driving me nuts.
So back in 2012 or early 2013, I convinced my dad to invest in Bitcoin, which he did. We ended up with a few thousand bucks worth back then.
When it shot up over $300, we sold it thinking we’d scored big, which we did at the time based on ROI. But then, out of nowhere, Bitcoin just kept climbing to where it is now. Total financial blunder on our part, but we moved on.
Recently, I was digging for an old diary and started tearing the house apart looking for it. I went through old boxes and checked random spots.
In the middle of the search, I stumbled upon the hardware wallet where my Bitcoin was stored. At first, I didn’t think much of it, but something pushed me to check it out.
When I finally accessed it... I just stared at the screen in disbelief.
A total of 104 Bitcoin was right there.
I was completely shocked. I shut it down and opened it back up, needing to confirm I wasn't imagining things.
Since then, I’ve been all over the place mentally. I can't even sleep properly.
You won't believe what I found: my old hardware wallet with over 104 BTC

It would have been worth celebrating if it was Dollars and not Bitcoin
Dollar supreme.
Even from the title alone
We can already tell it's an April Fool
Nobody finds something like that and shares it except they are scammers.

I once found forgotten money in the pocket of a pair of pants I had not worn in months, but I think your reaction must have been "a little" better than mine
Congratulations on your find, I hope you've learned your lesson this time: do not sell everything "again", save half for another 10 or 20 years and be even happier than you are today.
Another tip: do not forget to check all the hard forks of this address and any bounties that may still be active with this wallet as a reward... sometimes just the amount you will earn from that is enough to get a good financial value without having to mess with the main Bitcoin blockchain.
In any case, it might also be worthwhile to move this to a newer (and more secure) hardware wallet or at least review the backups you have of it... nothing could be worse at this moment than losing what you found again, right?
[EDIT]
Is this a joke?

This is probably the only joke Id want to hear. But if itll end up as a lie, I might just get too angry to whoever will tell me this joke. That amount is no joke even if bitcoin is down right now. That should tell you how big of a deal accumulating bitcoin was back then.
look closer bro
it's 1.04 mBTC
That's exactly it, and the joke angle makes it so much darker.
Because everyone who was around back then had a wallet like that at some point, right? A tiny test amount, a faucet drip, which is why we all wrote down seeds that faded or got lost in a hard drive wipe, so the joke isn't on one guy, it's on all of us. That amount being no joke just highlights how we all failed to grasp what we were holding.
We missed the point when it mattered.
Hahah 1 04
1 april

Finding those scattered upper-case letters and assembling them is quite entertaining, although most aren't properly used in a sentence so it's pretty obvious already.
But the "small" note below just spoils the fun.
It is hard for us to Believe on anything people are saying today because of the new month celebration of April fool, however, some of them could be true and while some could just be for fun, when you invest in Bitcoin for a long time and still hold it for a decade, you will always be grateful for such an opportunity that you never lose access to your money and how profitable it would have turned, this is what USD could not grant your because of the nature the system was built and now inflation concentrate more on fiat.
i wonder why he chooses 104 though. he could have said 5000 or more. i'm thinking whether he is telling the truth and just simply wants us to know first and ask what to do with his money as advice and whether he should tell his father or not. my advice is that tell your father. prepare a glass of water and let him sit before the announcement. but then like the rest, the timing of this thread is awesome.
just so people who are waiting for the punchline, won't have to wait. i drop it myself.
april fools!

Regardless of today's date, I would doubt that you are telling the truth any day, because the first hardware wallet appeared somewhere at the end of 2014. Still, all in all, a good story - who knows, maybe someone really has an old wallet with a hidden treasure, so go search
Haha, you guys are funny. And OP is just enjoying his day by making other fool so there is nothing to take seriously about this, haha.
I read some replies in this thread that are funny. And I think OP is trying to be a future Elon musk but he knows the reality. Right OP? But who knows he will be one day... I like you response so i thought to reply you btw.
Where do you guys bring this creativity, haha? Well, it might be possible that you are correct, and if you are really correct, then OP is going back to shock again, haha.
Nice advice. Let me add that OP should keep this find secret for his safety .
It was really an April Fool's stunt, OP caught you.
Anyway, your story made me remember my neighbour who bought a fairly used school bag from the market. He got home and decided to search the several pockets. And he was lucky to find a few dollars. The money was enough to pay his school fees for a section.
Nah, others have already killed the fun. I literally did read this long thread of yours OP and not anticipating to read something to reveal if it's true story or not.
Anyway, I wish that it's a real one and hoping that you really have won in life. Seriously, there were stories like this and I think that we'll get to see some of them more in the nearest future.
A lot of dormant accounts that held a lot of Bitcoins have sold last year.
But, you posted on the wrong board. This isn't the Bitcoin discussion board, this is the Dollar Discussion!
Hahaha if this were true it wouldn't be bad. And you know what I think? I'm sailing at sea and my ship has already sunk in a storm. I'm unconscious and the next day when I regained consciousness I saw that I was lying on an island and there was a lot of garbage scattered around me. There I saw a diary. When I opened the diary, I saw that there were 12 words written there. Then I remembered that the faces of wallets are 12 letters. After I was rescued from there, when I opened it on my device, I saw that there were thousands of bitcoins there. Hahaha, in my imagination, this makes me rich.
Did not the "look closely" statement give the intention of the OP away? Looks like we are in for the April Fools story today . Regardless, nice joke story to read there.
true this dormant accounts are waking up to convert to dollar for they see that the dollar is far superior to BTC.
I think its fine since @OP would be converting the story to dollar anyway ,

Don't wake up Bro, your Bitcoin will be gone or you realize that it's only 104 satoshis, but still hold on to it because when 1 satoshi = $1 then you already have $104
A fun story for April Fools, Op.

i doubt if everyone would have figured out the prank in the post and i also took out time to read the post and felt bad after i saw the April fool because i wasn't expecting the op to spill this out so soon and mind you, i think every post today will be regarded as a fun post without holding so much weight to it, so no one has to be scared while making their post on this day because the forum already looks like a joke today and i wish i has some preparations for today but i guess i missed out of the fun and maybe i wouldn't by next year
It took time until I saw that in the end that made me realize it although I have expected it while reading.
In serious note, they just took profits after holding for years.
Yeah, it will take a day before it changes back to what it used to be.
Its a Joke Man, (April Fool)
Hmm, yep, you got that.
You were the first person that took note of the scattered letter, you obviously paid close attention while reading. I tried making the letters sink with the sentence and words, but it was quite difficult, so I just left it that way.
I decided to use 1, 04
1- 1st
04- April
Just as iqbal26 said
Hmm, hidden treasure indeed I will go check then haha.
I wish it was a real one too man, but it was just an April Fool joke.
Oh my bad then haha
Im sorry I spoil the fun so early mate.
But Im happy people fell for it.
